I'm surprised no-one has mentioned Metal Gear Solid.

Especially four, but nothing can top three. Snake Eater sends shivers down my spine when I hear it, and every time I do, I feel like booting up the old ps2 and having a muck around.

Deus Ex - Hong Kong theme in particular

Vampire: Bloodlines - Killer, killer soundtrack, added a dark tinge to everything, which in a game where you play as a creature of the night, worked perfectly.

Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast - Remember the music that played during the academy level? Beautiful.

KOTOR 2 - The music of this game reminded you that you were in a MASSIVE universe, and it felt kinda lonely, therefore you really bonded with your party.

Morrowind - Matched the setting really well. One of the few times where orchestral music in a game has worked.

Oblivion - Truely Epic. Yes, did get repititive, but can you remember when you first heard it?

Max Payne 1/2 - Dark and Noir, just like the game, fantastic.

Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 - The best soundtrack to any game ever. Perfect tracks and I still know the exact point in RATM- Guerilla radio where the 2 mimutes timer runs out.

zelda because the soundtrack is just epic and dirt 2 had one song from scars on broadway that I liked. I mostly listen to music on my ipod or in the background when I play games so I don't often listen to the soundtracks for games.

I don't like much metal type stuff, but I thought the original Doom had some sweet tunes. Really set the scene.

The Dawn of War games, the Halo games and the Legend of Zelda games have got to have won it for me. I especially love The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker's miniboss music. Not actual boss music, the miniboss music.

Final Fantasy soundtracks are generally good, Shadow Hearts had some sick music and Kingdom Hearts 2 had soeme really nice mellow jazzy numbers in amongst all the other nonsense.

Shadow of the Collosus as well, and Silent Hill 2
