Your favorite guitarist?

Up there in the title, which guitarist is your favorite? Let it be anyone, regardless of genre, band, etc.

My favorite is John 5, the country metal shredder in Rob Zombie (previously played in Manson, and has a strong solo career). Followed by him comes Steve Vai.

Zakk Wylde, Kirk Hammet and Dave Mustaine all come to mind, but there's seven I hold above all others as my favourite guitarists I've ever heard:

I don't have one. Each guitarist has their own style all with their own advantages and disadvantages. The decision is made even harder when there are great guitarists for every musical genre.

I will go ahead and say Jimmy Page. Also Slash and Leo Kottke. I think Yngwie Malmsteen is amazingly good but he's not one of my favourites.
