FarCry 2 has awesome graphics. I also like Oblivion's graphics (if they were made to be a bit smoother that is, I bet they would be incredible).
FC2's visuals are gorgeous. Oblivion still hold the open-world fantasy RPG visuals throne right now even though it's 4 years old.

Wait, I didn't know Deus Ex had such great graphics.

How do I describe this.. realistic.

How can anyone not love that!? I mean the sunset not pushing the guy off the roof.
Wow! That's at least four shades of brown!

OT: Cel-shaded awesomeness.

I loved the graphics in red dead redemption, they were mind blowingly good on my bf's hd tv! Also I like the graphics style in world of warcrafts scenery, not so much with the characters though.

In this cavalcade of dark and gritty, I think it's refreshing to see the stark, bright, and simplistic stylings like Mirror's Edge and cel-shaded games, but I think cyberpunk is true refinement. The darkness of a futuristic dystopian world coupled with its neon glow and scientific undertones is fantastic, to say the least.

I truly like cell shaded art and detailed 2D sprites

I don't mind realistic or darker styles, I just think its overused

GOW3's graphics sometimes I just stand still to look at how lifelike Kratos is. I can't believe no one mentioned this.

(^That's an ingame screenshot btw, not a cutscene)

They all look stunning, and I do love them, but I'm a sucker for (really good) Cel Shading.

Oh and Deus Ex is (visually) like a darker Mirror's Edge, but yet Crysis 2 and Deus Ex are so similar. Btw i'd say that Deus Ex and Crysis 2 are equal in visual comparison, judging from gameplay videos and cutscenes

Can't say I like a particular brand of graphics. The kinds I like are a bit inconsistent actually. I like the look MvC3 but I hated SF4. I like COD4 but not really MW2 (if that makes any kind of sense) I hated the look of the rebooted Prince of Persia. I liked Blazblue. I didn't like Final Fantasy XIII, I liked XII. I didn't like Assassin's Creed (except for Jerussalem) and I like Assassin's Creed 2 a lot.

I could go on but I won't.
Well I don't know about the others, but graphically mw2 looks like they took cod4 and made the streets teaming with garbage.

Is cel-shading a graphic style? What's the main ideea of it?

Mirror's Edge and the 2008 Prince of Persia had such brilliant aesthetics to them.
But alas, I must admit that there is one true champion:

Okami just doesn't seem to age graphically. It remains breathtaking.
I too have to side with the stylized and/or cell shaded look. Okami has a great look. So does Borderlands. In fact, I would have to say that one of the only things I liked about No More Heroes was the art style.
I loved Oblivion and Fallout 3 and the scenery looks very realistic but once you start talking with people the realism is shattered.

BlazBlue Continuum Shift. Beautiful.
I'm a fan of any game that uses sprites as much as i love the look of Okami's cell-shading, but pixelated sprites give games a unique look only found in videogames.

Fire emblem, the Gameboy advance ones, were perfect for me.
I love pixelated graphics, and the drawn-ish parts for battles were lots of fun.

I like hand-drawn or cell shaded graphics. Something like Okami and Team Fortress 2...
Those graphics are timeless, while games that aim for uber-realism (Crysis or MGS4, for example) will look outdated in a couple years.

You're looking at the building? I'm looking at the beautiful sunset and sea. Perhaps these screenshots are better.
