So Total Annihilation, then?Drops a Sweet Katana said:(basically anything Jeremy Soule touches)
You HAVE to listen to Final Fantasy 11's opening theme in its entirty.Artina89 said:You can't really go wrong with the Final Fantasy franchise:
I think the Final Fantasy IX intro sums my point up nicely, but any of the games have fairly solid soundtracks.
I haven't played 2, but I loved (and still love) the music from the first Guild Wars.Nooners said:Guild Wars 2. Jeremy Soule is a god of gaming composers. Wonder if he'll ever do a film soundtrack...
Allied Assault had more great soundtracks:MysticSlayer said:Medal of Honor always had great music, at least prior to the 2010 reboot:
The series is one of the few that I actually tried getting a soundtrack for. It always did a great job of reflecting the mood of each scene, but it also was enjoyable to listen to on its own. The early Call of Duty games, particularly the first one, also had similarly great music.
With the exceptions of Far Horizons and the obvious Dragonborn (which is just an Choir version of Nerevar Rising from Morrowind) I found most of the tracks forgettable in Skyrim.Elfgore said:Oblivion and Skyrim have fantastic Orchestral soundtracks.
Jeremy Soule just has that magic touch with epic Orchestral soundtracks.
Call of Magic...Samtemdo8 said:Morrowind had the most memorable soundtrack bar none.
No offense by I am surprised no one in this thread even mentions God of f"#ckin War and its soundtrack:Scarim Coral said:Child of Light come to my mind-
Honestly I have never been able to remember one piece of music from that entire franchise outside of the main theme of the title screen in the first game.Samtemdo8 said:No offense by I am surprised no one in this thread even mentions God of f"#ckin War and its soundtrack:Scarim Coral said:Child of Light come to my mind-
