Ok let me explain this VERY clearly. When I say "Underrated" Underrated Game I am talking about games that most people have looked over and/or totally forgotten about. Also I'm NOT talking about "Famous" Underrated games like Ico, Psychonauts, Beyond Good and Evil. So I will go first with my two choices "Indigo Prophecy" for XBOX/PS2 and "Out of this World" for SNES/GENESIS

Freedom Fighters springs to mind. What an awesome, awesome game.

Also, The Darkness for the PS3.

Disaster Report. It was a PS2 game that played like a survival horror game but wasn't a survival horror game. You ran from earthquakes and the like.

I had tons of fun with it.

Considering that many people here have a distaste for sports games, I'll say NBA Jam, for the Sega Genesis/SNES.
By far, it is the most fun sports game ever created, and I have it in my top 5 games of any genre list, just because of the amazing fun factor.

Yakuza 3, ROTK series, and Nobunaga's Ambitions series. At least, in the North American reference frame.
MAG. Valkyria Chronicles (every PS3 gamer who didn't play this should be ashamed; they gave us gameplay innovation and we spat in their face).

Body Harvest for the the N64. The graphics were pretty bad for the time but the story was pretty good, the gameplay was fun, varied and interesting and it had quite possibly the creepiest musical score I have ever heard in a game. I think I even read somewhere that it was the predecessor for the modern sandbox game: you could just steal cars and run over people if you really wanted to instead of saving them from the aliens.

Tribes Aerial Assualt. Basically all th fun of Halo, but with better physics, the abilites to custimize the type of armor you were(Like light armor, medium or heavy), and jetpacks. Plus better special weapons, and more vehicles to chose from.

Cubivore, possibly the hardest game to explain but so fun in so many ways. It also has some of the most unique gameplay ever, its sister game is animal crossing if that can give you an idea as to how different it is.

Honorable mentions are Earth Defense Force 2017, and Dungeon Explorer.

The Little King's Story. Don't look at me like that, the game was actually good once you got past the kiddy graffics. The Etrian Odesssy series.

I second this. The Western market didn't seem to appreciate this game as much as the Eastern market for some reason. And while I'm talking about the Western market, I'll just say Dragon Quest V. the battle system is archaic but I'll be damned if it isn't a great game.

I think Wild Arms 3 counts, so I'm going to go with that because it's awesome.

How many people got hooked with Clay Fighter for the N64?
I feel like a loner around anyone I know that's even played an N64.

That or Sonic Rush, if you even consider it overlooked. I just
Never seen it get much attention compared to Sonic 06 and that junk.

Titan quest and Immortal Throne. Pretty, challenging (Mmmm...4x spawn mod), huge amount of weapons/armor, and sweet classes. Yeah it was a bit of a grind at times...but what Diablo clone isn't?

I'm going to go with Nier for the PS3. I understand why it was passed up by others and why some reviewers didn't like it, but I personally think it's one of the better games released this year (there were still other good ones, but few made me feel about them the way that Nier made me feel). Also, while I understand why Cavia didn't do it, I wish they had Nier Replicant as DLC over here in the west.

EDIT: But seriously, I liked the game so much that I've been looking everywhere for the Drakengard games. Unfortunatly, no store carries them now.
