Minority Report for the PS2 was nice, and most people I know don't know about it.
Hellgate:London is also a personal fave, and most people I know scratch their heads when I mention it.

'General Chaos' and 'Toejam and Earl'
From a time when co-op gaming was pure and simple
Every couple of years my bro and I still drag them out

Mount & Blade: Warband.

Fantastic gameplay, combat and modding community/dev support, all for a low price. I play it all the time.

So I will go first with my two choices "Indigo Prophecy" for XBOX/PS2 and "Out of this World" for SNES/GENESIS
Would not call Fahrenheit (sorry, Indigo Prophecy) underrated. It has quite the cult following, was named the best game of 2005 in the main Russian gaming magazine and sold nearly a million copies.

OT: The Saboteur. How could this fucking game go mostly unnoticed, it was largely better than the first Assassin's Creed or any other sandbox stealth game ever. Hell, it was a mixture of AC, Hitman and even some sniper games.

What's not to like?
Yes Indigo Prophecy sold fairly well and I guess the Russians loved it, but it still doesn't get too much recognition. It was quickly forgotten until Heavy Rain came out. Yeah it might be on-the-fence with what I was looking for (and by the way everybody has made some awesome post for their games), but I am sticking with it.

It was pretty good, I wondered around lost for a good portion of the game and the platforming is rather bleh, but the combat is solid, it makes some nice attempts to try and be original, and the story is more engaging then the usual video game shlock that get's pushed out... so yeah check it out... though you may have a bit of deja vu...
Hm....seems rather mixed here. Let me just ask this;

Is it worth full price?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...
no, not really... but than again I payed full price since I'm a Castlevania fanboy...<.<
Then that answers my question! I shall wait for a good price drop ^_^
yeah 20, 30 bucks sounds reasonable... or just rent it from Blockbuster...<.<
Meh. I never like renting anything. Too much of a hassle :p

I just buy everything.
Saves money, especially if it's something really short like Enslaved... 5 hours? come on...
WOW Enslaved is only 5 hours?!? Ninja Theory did the same thing with Heavenly Sword. I was going to buy enslaved, but now that might be a X-Mas present request.

My favorite underrated game was Mischief Makers, but gamers seem to avoid it like it's some sort of Clancer!
Hehehe, I understood that joke.

Anyway, that game is utterly brilliant. It's got such a fascinating world. Well, everything about it is pretty fascinating; from the controls to characters to level design to boss fights.

Rise of Nations. A truly great RTS mixing Age of Empires and Civilization.

Yeah I rented it and good thing too since I beat it in one sitting and immediately took it back and rented Mercenaries Playground of Destruction on PS2...<.<

I guess I'll go with Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines, for the PC. Awesome action RPG but it's broken as hell and requires a hell of a lot of patches (on patch 7.1 so far).

Gauntlet Legends for psx/n64
They had it for dreamcast too i think, but i agree, the Gauntlet series was underrated and it's still my favorite game to play with friends when we get bored on the weekend. the GC/XBOX/PS2 version wasn't that bad either, same concept just upped the gameplay up a bit

Titan quest and Immortal Throne. Pretty, challenging (Mmmm...4x spawn mod), huge amount of weapons/armor, and sweet classes. Yeah it was a bit of a grind at times...but what Diablo clone isn't?
You know that's on sale on Steam for $5 today, right? Tell your friends.

OT: I'm going to go with Super Ninja Boy on the SNES. Nowadays, the random battle system is pretty tedious, but the gameplay is solid enough. Savestates help a lot because there is no save system because they wanted to use a password system on a SNES game. Despite all that, I've never played another Co-op RPG brawler quite like Super Ninja Boy. Good times were had.

Don't really know if it's underrated or not, but, seeing as no one ever talks about it, Kessen. Everyone else might hate it, but I fucking love that game. Consoles need more intense, challenging strategy games like that.
