Oh really? How was that, by they way? I'm debating getting it or not

Legend of Dragoon. Came out around the same time as FF7 so every compared the two, but Legend of Dragoon was MUCH MUCH MUCH better!

It was pretty good, I wondered around lost for a good portion of the game and the platforming is rather bleh, but the combat is solid, it makes some nice attempts to try and be original, and the story is more engaging then the usual video game shlock that get's pushed out... so yeah check it out... though you may have a bit of deja vu...

So I will go first with my two choices "Indigo Prophecy" for XBOX/PS2 and "Out of this World" for SNES/GENESIS
Would not call Fahrenheit (sorry, Indigo Prophecy) underrated. It has quite the cult following, was named the best game of 2005 in the main Russian gaming magazine and sold nearly a million copies.

OT: The Saboteur. How could this fucking game go mostly unnoticed, it was largely better than the first Assassin's Creed or any other sandbox stealth game ever. Hell, it was a mixture of AC, Hitman and even some sniper games.

What's not to like?

Hm....seems rather mixed here. Let me just ask this;

Is it worth full price?

Underrated... lemme check what I've got installed on my machine at the moment.

First I'm gonna say Tron 2.0. It got great ratings, but nobody knows it exists.

Fahrenheit, known in the States as Indigo Prophecy. I got the Euro version because censorship sucks.

Interstate '76. Never get out of the car.

Freelancer. Think, EVE online single-player with graphics that won't melt your video RAM.

The Void. Masterpiece. Impossible to describe. By Russians, of course.

Chrome and Chrome: Specforce. A pair of the best tactical shooters I have ever played. Hard as all hell, though.

Chaser. Classic shooting masterpiece.

Tachyon, a fantastic member of the slowly dying space flight simulater genre.

Same for Independance War 2.

Ooh... what have I missed...

Impossible Creatures, most innovative RTS in CENTURIEVER.

Nexus: The Jupiter incident. Sparkling non CPU melting graphics with an epic storyline and REALISTIC SPACE FIGHTS (omg)

Hostile Waters: Anataeus Rising simply for a combination of immersive vehicular combat and real time strategy similar to... oh, I don't know,

BATTLEZONE!! GOD OF VEHICULAR COMBAT!!

All you people are mentioning the same games over and over. These are NOT underrated games! NIER IS NOT AN UNDERRATED GAME!!

Stuff above + half the gaming industry is an underrated game!

Go DIG instead of glancing in the nearest shop window and saying "Oh, that looks underrated."

Meh. I never like renting anything. Too much of a hassle :p

I just buy everything.

Skies of Arcadia for the Gamecube (That's the one I played)
Bomberman The Second Attack for N64 (My own personal nostalgia trip)
Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars for the SNES (Bit of a stretch, but whenever I say Mario RPG, people think Paper Mario...)

Saves money, especially if it's something really short like Enslaved... 5 hours? come on...

Nier! It's probably my favorite game from this years...<.<
If you liked Nier, have you played Drakengard, by chance? :3

Anyway, probably...hm...Rule of Rose, Resonance of Fate, and Drakengard. Those are probably my favorite "underrated" underrated games, since I'm lucky if I come across a person every so often that's at least heard of one of them.
I have yet to play Drakengard but I've been meaning to since I hear they both take place in the same universe...<.<
Drakengard was pump. NIER is superb though.
My choice would be Rise of the Argonauts.
Got unfairly slated on release, but stick with it and it's very good.

I have to agree with this. I didn't know anyone else loved it as much as I did! I felt cheated with the New Game + option though...

Parapa the Rappa. It was a rhythm game for the PS1. Then there's also Pursuit Force for the PSP. Not many people seem to have heard about it.
