Luger P08. Yes, it was made in 1908, but it was mostly used[(i] during the second world war.

Tie between Mosin-Nagant and FG-42. My best friend's brother has a Nagant, and that thing is heavy as fuck, but a very nice piece of weaponry.

My favourite rifle would be the M1 Garand. I love the sound it makes when it finishes a clip.

I'll be the dirty bastard American and say the M1 Garand. Boom-boom-TING! =D

I really want to get my hands on one... On the plus side, if my friend ever gets DOWN here, we're going to rent the Thompson at the local range. =D
M2 Browning machine gun>M1

For a rifle definitely the M1 Garand without a doubt, it was key to the allies success and for the time was an amazing rifle.

For Machineguns, either the Thompson, MP40, or the PPsh-41 all three were amazingly powerful and amazingly bad ass.

Finally for handguns, there can only be one;
The Luger P08 just look at it and tell me you don't feel bad ass using it, or you wouldn't shit bricks if someone pointed it at your face shouting in German.

M2 Browning machine gun is a totally different weapon that the M1.

I would say the PPSH-41, for it's firepower and awsomeness(for being the most produced machine gun, it sure is expensive to get one, even a semi-auto replica.)

Or the thompson, with it's .45 acp stopping power in short to mid-range combat it was a devestator. It also shared ammo with the 1911 so you wouldn't need to bring more than one type of loose ammo in your spare pack.

The good old Sturmgewehr 44.

This is a gun so badass that its name translated out is "storm rifle 44" (or storm weapon if you feel that sounds better.

Personally my favorite is the Mosin-Nagant, whats yours!?
So you know, the stock is extremly poor designed on the mosin-nagant, it really fucked up my shoulder.
I like the MG42 and Browning 1919a1 machine guns.
