Your British girls with their British accents (maybe not the the Northern ones or the Eastenders but most other variants).

And your manners.

The Harry Potter book series, Terry Pratchett, The Office and, Monty Python's Flying Circus (their movies too I suppose)

I hope to add jellied eel to the list but it's hard to come by in the U.S. Same with pasties which also look great.

Also Cradle of Filth. I still like that band.

I'd say monty python but people said that already... How about the castles? I grew up in the UK and I loved all the history and wonderful ruins you could go visit.

Apart from that, I'm not sure there's anything else about Britain to be proud about.

How can you say Simon Pegg and not Nick Frost. Don't get me wrong I prefer pegg to frost but they are a duo.

they are like batman and robin. Robin (Frost) gets forgotten all the time.

OT: I like the way way we apologise for everything.
Don't get me wrong, I love, LOOOVE, Pegg and Frost as a duo, and I find Frost to be a great comic actor, but I had already listed Pegg, Wright, and Shaun. I guess I didn't want half of my list to be from the same movie. I could have put Hot Fuzz, but I guess I didn't want to give the impression that most of what I like from Britain was all about the Pegg/Frost/Wright trio.

Well, I say my adoptive homeland is ok. My favourite thing here is Bristol. It's a lovely city filled with lovely people.
