King Arthur. In fact, I wrote a book about him. Also: Goddamn Monty Python.

The music, comedy, writers and beer have already been rightly noted.

So I'll add, the London Tube. Possibly the best mass transit system I've ever had the pleasure to ride. A week after coming back from England, I had to ride the Toronto subway and almost pulled my hair out in frustration at its slow speed and lack of lines.

The Internet (look it up)
You mean the World Wide Web. The Internet was invented as a project of the US military.

Definately their self-deprecating sense of humour. Makes them capable of producing some of the funniest comedians and TV around (Fawlty Towers, Red Dwarf, Blackadder, etc.) but it also makes them easy to mock. And as an Australian, I appreciate that.

My drinking buddy. We have lots of laughs at our differences, all in good fun. I live in Texas, and do not have much of a southern accent. However, some of my friends do, and when his mates come to visit, it is absolutely halarious to watch communication break down due to alcohol. Ahhh... * wipes tear from eye* Good times.

I'm from Canada, and I'd say comedic television ranks pretty high. I mean, I've yet to see a funnier show than Fawlty Towers anywhere.

Top Gear.
definitely the best show I've ever seen, and I'm American. In fact, seeing the American Top Gear makes me ashamed of it.

Well British Grindcore is what got me into Grindcore. I would never have listened to Grindcore were it not for the likes of Napalm Death and Carcass.

Also, before the bad teeth jokes flood in, the British actually have the healthiest teeth in the world, we're just not as anal about their colour and shape as the Americans...
lol!
The very definition of healthy teeth: Pearly white and straight, not crooked.

lmao! XD Gawd Brits are funny!

24hr tesco at 2am in PJs is where it's at :p
I once walked into a 24 hour Tesco and found my nan in her PJs. Not that she was being mental or anything, she was shopping. It was freaky. I was only getting me some toothpaste after getting some petrol, and there is my nan waltzing around like its normal to be there and ready for a cheeky nap all at the same time!

That we took being negative and turned it into the most positive thing about us. That and we're a tiny divided nation smaller than Texas that has given the world some of it's greatest achievements.

Including Baseball and Apple Pie. ;)

The Irish took Revelry and made it an art-form. The Welsh channeled Melpomene so it created the sweetest of voices from the direst of tales. The Scottish took Stoicism and turned it into Steel and Genius. The English conquered half the world by understanding Feces, and then gave it back and focussed on laughing about it.

While France has the best cuisine, Germany has the greatest efficiency, America make everything larger than life; Britain makes joys out of woes.
