BTW: Some of you said something about Doctor Who, but that's mostly British phenomenon, not really commonly favored outside of your country. When i saw it first, i didn't know it's name, it just felt like some mildly interesting and bit stupid tv series. Nothing special.

One more question - do Brits think we Americans sound funny, and (I doubt it, but I think it's worth asking) do you ever try an American accent? Because tons of people here try a British accent, and the only one who seems to be able to pull it off is my brother, for some reason.

I've met a Brit, too, by the way, and he seems quite similar to Americans except for the accent.

I think most of us think most of you sound annoying thanks to the stereotypical California 90210 crap. We're kinda desensitised to it now, though, thanks to shows like scrubs and friends.

We are quite similar in many ways. Many of your political ideas come from English sources, after all. Also,

Yeah, but there's tons of different accents in America. I'm sure there's differences in some parts of Britain, but I don't sound like anybody from California. I actually sound like what's stereotyped as Texan, but I'm from North Carolina. So many on Xbox Live have asked if I'm from Texas.

There's Boston accents, New York, Southern, blah blah blah...

Tons of different accents in america? Theres probaly more accents in britain which is tiny compared to America. Just like a scouse doesnt sound like a geordie or a mancunian. Theres multiple different accents in london alone not to mention lots more in Northern Ireland. British accents also vary massively, no two sound the same in most cases.

I never said there weren't different ones in England. Actually, all of you sound nearly the same to me, so I guess all of us must sound similar to y'all. But there are lots of differences here; just in the county I live in, you can often tell when someone's from Dallas or Stanley or Belmont, so I would imagine there's just as much difference in England. Did you take offense or something?

No not at all, Although upon reading back I can see why that might of looked like I did. But yeah, Its probaly a case of us saying 'YOU YANKS ALL SOUND THE SAME!' and you lads replying 'YOU LIMEYS ALL SOUND THE SAME'. Well to me anyway =p I've only visited Florida in America a few times and I imagine thats not the best place to see to experience the country, being extremely commercial.

I almost forgot about Yorkshire Pudding. Y'know, all the times I've been to the UK, I've never had it there. My folks make it at every family dinner they have in the states but never in the UK. That's really weird now that I think about it.
They have some other great food too.

Bombay Mix and Fish & Chips. Who says they haven't made any contributions to world cuisine.

Terry Pratchett, JKR, JRRT, Robert Rankin, Tom Holt, Dickens, and every other author I'm forgetting at the moment.

I also have to give props to Genesis (with or without Peter Gabriel), Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins on their own, David Bowie, Iron Maiden, Gorillaz, Tom Waits; yea I know he's not from there but at least they appreciate him.

There's also Monty Python, The Young Ones, Danger Mouse (the cartoon), Scrapyard Challenge/Junkyard Wars, Top Gear, Dr Who... Another list that just goes on.

I really love how they freely toss around the swear word that rhymes with punt. They use it for men, women, and old people. Can I type that one here?
