Your favourite game of 2009 (so far!)

It looks as if all the best games of the year are coming out in the last three months of the year, but so far, I would have to say Batman: Arkham Asylum.

but it would have to be Killzone 2 because the multiplayer keeps bringing me back for more and the fact they relased sevreal new maps only feeds my addiction to this game.

Batman got it just last week and I'm playing it to the point were its becoming an addiction and by addiction I mean the kind that needs a lot of help.

I actually don't think I've played a single game from 2009 yet! I've spent all my time this year playing Metroid Prime, Sonic Adventure 1+2 and Heroes, Resident Evil 4, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Paper Mario, and Guitar Hero 3

So far my game of the year is Empire: Total War, but that speaks more to this year's weak crop of games than to Empire's quality. A game that is merely "very good" should not be granted such accolades.

ETW had far too many bugs, and I stopped playing a week or 2 after buying it.
Im sure I will have some drive to go back sooner or later, but the bugs are just too blatant.

I play Arma 2 strictly for the multiplayer at this point.
