Ah. The whole world fails if Red Dwarf and Faulty Towers mentioned in a topic about things "No One's Heard Of"

OT: A British Jazz Muso by the name of Dave Stapleton. He is fucking awesome.

Favorite TV series that no one has heard of...

Gotta be the Kamen Rider series, Kamen Rider Decade and Kamen Rider Kabuto in particular.

I'd also like to bring up the band Presidents of the United States of America. They are fantastic, and not too many people seem to know of them.
Hey they sang ''Lump'' Right? That's an awesome song :)

What I'd like to mention is my country ''Malta'' Honest to god, 98% of the people I meet in any form of online setting have never heard of the entire country, Which is really sad when you think about it.

Honest question, have you heard of it?

Firefly, a TV series. I don't know if many people have heard of it cause they didn't make many episodes of it since they didn't get alot of viewers. Plus the movie sequal Serenity is kewl too.

The main character, Nathan Fillion who plays Captain Malcolm Reynolds in Firefly and Serenity also plays Gunnery Sergeant Reynolds in Halo 3 and Gunnery Sergeant Edward Buck in Halo 3: ODST (Buck is also modeled from Fillion).

(Applies in Finland only) Drinking foregin beers, British ales, German wheat beers, Czech lagers and Scottish stouts. Man they're good. Everyone else in here only drinks the Finnish horse urine they dare to call beer. I think they don't know what they're missing.

Other than that, some really good underground bands, mostly doom/stoner metal.

In my school, no one except me and my friend has played or heard of Beyond Good and Evil, Psychonauts, Deus Ex, the Mother/Earthbound series, Operation Flashpoint, the Chzo Mythos, Full Throttle, Day of the Tentacle, the Monkey Island games (and if so no one seems to allude to it), XIII (excellent game, very under-rated, like all the others), the actual original Call of Duty before it became extreme mainstream (nothing wrong with mainstream - I just wish some of these under-rated games would receive mainstream popularity too), KOTOR (well, it has several fans), Galleon, World of Goo... the list is endless, and it makes me sad.

Yes, and I think it is a lovely country. Everytime I've been there I've loved every moment, as opposed to Spain, which is a sweltering cesspool of the very people I wish to avoid - my own countrymen.

I think we all have them: Favourite Movies, Music, Games, Shows, Brands of Unicycle, that no one else seems to have heard of. Share yours. I'll start us off;

Earlier this summer I saw "Moon". It was quite a low-budget movie, about a man who works on the moon for three years providing the Earth with energy, his only company up there being a robot named GERTY. The movie was absolutely fantastic, and I just loved it. Unfortunately, I think I might just be the only one I know who has heard of it. I think in total it's made about 1.1 Million, which is not so much as far as movies go. What a shame.
So tell me internet, what's something awesome that no one else has heard of?
You forgot Books!
And for me, it's a little known book called Roadside Picnic. Funnily enough, probably everyone knows about it's legacy. It was the Genesis for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series.
Based on the book Roadside Picnic by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky.
Everyone here should read that book. Possibly the best sci-fi read you'll ever have.

Im not sure what to say... Watch closely the whole time at Mick and you can see that hes constantly staring at John's mouth with a weird look on his face.

That looks like the coolest game show ever. Where did you find this?
It was on Channel 4 a few years ago. I just accidently switched it on one day and thought it was great. Cheesy as hell, but a great show.

You'd be amazed at what you can find on Youtube. Whole episodes have been uploaded to Youtube :D

Mine is a band called MGMT. They have great music, but hardly anyone has heard of them.
That's funny cause I remember they got nominated for best overseas band for the Mercury Prize or something like that so obviously people have heard of them. They lost to Kings of Leon but they shouldn't have, MGMT are far better.

EDIT: And as someone else said, they are pretty huge in the UK. Kids is a very popular song here. And Justice did an amazing remix of Electric Feel:

I couldn't resist posting that, I love this remix. My mate's dream is to get a lap dance to this song xD

Yes, but I can name basically all the European countries (including the tiny ones like Andorra, and yeah I'm bragging) so I might not count as typical.

Even worse: You wouldn't believe how many people can't locate The U.K. on a map. I mean, this isn't a tiny-tot like Luxembourg, it's the fucking U.K.! It amazes me that people don't learn this shit ever.
