The first one you ever picked up as a kid. What was it? Did you like it? Do you still have it?

The first comic I ever read was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic, and it was awesome. I absolutely loved it as a child, but I have no clue where it is today.

I think it was a Hawk Man DC comic, when I was about 4 years old, Definitely remember getting a Star Wars comic not long after that.

My dad had a lot of comic books, and he thought that I would love Nick Fury.
That I did.

The first comic book series I read completely was Watchmen.
The first comic book I ever read was probably one of these:

I was never that into comics when I was young, but I remember my brother somehow got a hold of one of the issues from The Death of Superman story arc. It was the one where he actually dies. I don't remember much, but I remmeber this...

I'm not really sure but it was probably the old Calvin and Hobbs book collection that my brother had, if that counts. I have some great memories reading those.

Other than the 'delightful' antics of Archie, the first comics I ever purchased on my own were the V series (based on the original V in the early 80s....damn I'm dating myself). I had them until we moved. and they somehow got lost in the shuffle.
