It was on "do you have a ritual when you get hom from school/work", I don't know why I even felt the need to start posting there.

Thread: Do QTE's Work?

StBishop said:
I'm sure that they work in some games in alot of the ways described by previous posts (Use the buttons to perform functions similar to their normal function - simply amplified, and to shorten gameplay but not have a huge disadvantge if you fail them.) However I don't enjoy them or, to be honest, the entirety of most games that have them incorporated.

I personally didn't enjoy God of War at all, quick time events aside, and refuse to have it allowed in my house. I didn't enjoy the quick time events in, and I stopped playing, Starwars: Force Unleashed due to them appearing at the end of all the boss fights.

Personal preference. I feel that timing a dodge yourself useing a normal button to dive or jump(Prince of persia, Assassin's Creed & even Fable) is preferable to pressing a button at the exact second that it appears on the screen.

That's my, and obviously alot of other people's, opinion on the matter.
Not too bad (I'll be honest, I edited two spelling mistakes and one grammatical error.)

I believe my first post was on what to do when you go to so and so a place. I said this...

If you ever come to Massachusetts, don't say you came to see the leaves change colors in the fall, or to see the Yankees play the Red Sox. Most importantly, don't head into Lawrence at night.
...Unless you like the Yankees.
Those Leafers will die choking in the decaying foliage they traveled here to see

Oh fuck, mine completely sucked. I'm cringing reading it.

Sigh... "This one was inspired by Youtube: MOTHERFLAGGER".

The topic was "made up words".

Commented on Unskippable, Resonance of Fate. Said the opening cut scene made Hideo Kojima look concise.
It's taking everything in my power to not find you and beat you for insulting the father of the greatest video game series ever made LOL

But really I LOVE MGS and I flip so much shit whenever someone insults it or the people behind it...watch yourself

Mine was on a thread titled Great Game you DON'T like?

Baldur's Gate
After listening to my friends rave about how good it was I decided to pick it up. The story and system seemed alright and I was looking forward to sinking a lot of time into another RPG. I only managed to go about 2-3 hours before I uninstalled it and never looked at it again. Everything about the game screams great to me, but I just find myself unable to even stomach trying it again after how uninterested I was by it all. The graphics, story, characters, system etc all drew me in, but something about it just stopped me having fun. I've played through other games like it with worse stories and characters and had a blast, but Baldur's Gate just made me want to beat my head on the table until I was unconscious.

Edit:

Left 4 Dead
I grew extremely bored, extremely fast and I still can't figure out why. I mean, it's a bloody rampage of blowing away anything that moves with a few mates and the hilarity of setting zombies on fire or watching them chase after a flashing pipe bomb. And yet the only time I was having fun was when zombies were set on fire or chasing after said flashing light.

I'm new to the whole forum-thing so please be nice :)
Also, I've read your Silent Hill True RPG and was scared shitless reading it, and this True RPG looks like its going to get good (not that it's bad, you know what I mean).
What I'm trying to say is keep up the good work, you are an awesome storyteller and I look forward to the rest of the story.
It's also the first post of mine that got quoted.

Welcome aboard, glad I could be here for your first post! ;)

I just make the stories up as I go with it, though I do follow the games story/tone to an extent. Eternal Darkness having sanity effects and such for example. I understand what you mean though, thank you for going through that Silent Hill RP.

Feel free to pop in and out of any True RPGs, no signing up or dedication necessary but the more players the faster I can continue the story.

You stab the sword through the skeletons neck as it whisks into yellow dust wafting in the air.

It drops a rune...Item

You've learned a new spell: "Enchant"

Looking in the "Tome of Eternal Darkness" you find this passage:

This spell enchants an item with an alignment of your choosing doing more damage to any enemy with the opposite alignment.

There are three alignments, each of a different guardian:

Chattur'gha (Red Alignment)- The guardian of strength.

Ulyaoth (Blue alignment)- The guardian of magick.

Xel'lotath (Green Alignment)- The guardian of sanity.

The circle for them is Blue->Red->Green->Blue.

There are other guardians, some created others, others control different aspects of the lives of humanity. These guardians rival each other to drive out all of humanity, none shall be safe for Mantorok, the guardian.....

The page ends there.

The true name for your runes are:

Antorbok (Project)

Magormor (Item)

Select an alignment for your Enchant spell and what weapon to enchant:

1. Chattur'gha Pistol/Sword

2. Ulyaoth Pistol/Sword

3. Xel'lotath Pistol/Sword

Pistol (5 Shots)

You can only change your alignment for spells when given opportunities. You can have different spells have different alignments later on.

Sanity: 65
And yeah, back then my username was lambi89.

Thread: Most Underrated Game of All Time?

Post: I would say TimeSplitters 2 for PS2 and Fire Emblem 7 for GBA. Both are great games and had lot of fun with both of them. It is true that both of the series are quite popular but these ones havent got enough credit.

It was some post about how I was annoyed that people were hassling Yahtzee about which game to review next. I felt a need to stick up for the guy. Not sure why as I'm sure he doesn't give much of a rats about what people write in the forums so probably wasted energy but meh. It was my first post after lurking for about three weeks.
