Not too bad (I'll be honest, I edited two spelling mistakes and one grammatical error.)StBishop said:I'm sure that they work in some games in alot of the ways described by previous posts (Use the buttons to perform functions similar to their normal function - simply amplified, and to shorten gameplay but not have a huge disadvantge if you fail them.) However I don't enjoy them or, to be honest, the entirety of most games that have them incorporated.
I personally didn't enjoy God of War at all, quick time events aside, and refuse to have it allowed in my house. I didn't enjoy the quick time events in, and I stopped playing, Starwars: Force Unleashed due to them appearing at the end of all the boss fights.
Personal preference. I feel that timing a dodge yourself useing a normal button to dive or jump(Prince of persia, Assassin's Creed & even Fable) is preferable to pressing a button at the exact second that it appears on the screen.
That's my, and obviously alot of other people's, opinion on the matter.

I'm new to the whole forum-thing so please be nice
Also, I've read your Silent Hill True RPG and was scared shitless reading it, and this True RPG looks like its going to get good (not that it's bad, you know what I mean).
What I'm trying to say is keep up the good work, you are an awesome storyteller and I look forward to the rest of the story.

I just make the stories up as I go with it, though I do follow the games story/tone to an extent. Eternal Darkness having sanity effects and such for example. I understand what you mean though, thank you for going through that Silent Hill RP.
Feel free to pop in and out of any True RPGs, no signing up or dedication necessary but the more players the faster I can continue the story.

You stab the sword through the skeletons neck as it whisks into yellow dust wafting in the air.
It drops a rune...Item
You've learned a new spell: "Enchant"
Looking in the "Tome of Eternal Darkness" you find this passage:
This spell enchants an item with an alignment of your choosing doing more damage to any enemy with the opposite alignment.
There are three alignments, each of a different guardian:
Chattur'gha (Red Alignment)- The guardian of strength.
Ulyaoth (Blue alignment)- The guardian of magick.
Xel'lotath (Green Alignment)- The guardian of sanity.
The circle for them is Blue->Red->Green->Blue.
There are other guardians, some created others, others control different aspects of the lives of humanity. These guardians rival each other to drive out all of humanity, none shall be safe for Mantorok, the guardian.....
The page ends there.
The true name for your runes are:
Antorbok (Project)
Magormor (Item)
Select an alignment for your Enchant spell and what weapon to enchant:
1. Chattur'gha Pistol/Sword
2. Ulyaoth Pistol/Sword
3. Xel'lotath Pistol/Sword
Pistol (5 Shots)
You can only change your alignment for spells when given opportunities. You can have different spells have different alignments later on.
