Thread: Perfect Dark remake for XBLA
As far as most know, the PD remake will contain:
- Constant 60fps
- Full 1080p resolution
- Online Combat Simulator with up to four players
Now, as for the things I have heard as rumours:
- Goldeneye guns usable in Combat Simulator
- Online co-op and counter-op with anywhere from two to four people
- Tweaks, thanks to Rare Witch Project who tested it. This could mean that things such as the Slayer with the All Weapons cheat, the bots' inability to detonate Remote Mines or effectively use the Shotgun and the ability to complete dD: Defection in six seconds, among other things may be fixed. Don't quote me on any of that, though.
It has been delayed to early 2010, sadly. The latest it could be released is March 21st, 2010. As for its actual release, nothing has been confirmed yet. The likely file size would be around half a gig, and should cost 1200 MSP if it's anything like the Banjo XBLA releases.
It may be worthy to note that PD's original N64 release was also delayed, and look how good that turned out.
I also never got a proper "Welcome to the Escapist", but oh well. It's a small price to pay for being able to take part in such mature discussions on these boards.
