My very first post occurred just after I had set up an account was ironically about the reasoning behind your username. I actually said that it was my first post (For some reason I typed "So here it goes") and I explained how my username was a mix of my enjoyment of Simon Pegg as an actor and that classic insult from my favourite tv show, Smeghead from Red Dwarf. And since then I've had one hell of a time on the Escapist.

I believe my first post was on a thread called The day I lost my soul. This thread has now been deleted however, and I cant remember what I wrote.

The earliest post in my list is from a thread called What music would you listen too in battle?

nice quiet music that makes me feel like i'm not there. that way when i get shot by a random guy, i dont have to listen to something that is supposed to get me hyped up.

i know that that's strange, but then so am i.
On reflection I wish I had used capital letters sooner.

Hell. I think mine may have had something to do with the 'Who was the greatest ever Spacemarine' thread. I had to defend Robert A. Heinlein's honour. But I'm not sure on that.
I remember my first thread though.

EDIT: I Lied. First post on my list is:

That's almost 2 years ago!

Anyway, It was definitely in Gaming Discussion (my first 500 posts were entirely in that forum), but I can't remember what for.

I think my first post was a character sheet for a Starcraft forum RP. Nothing really special there. I don't think I see much difference between my first post in February to the ones now in November, save for the fact that I am more aware of the rules and regulations of the Escapist.

After having looked back to find how/when I came to The Escapist, I decided to look at my first post which was apparently 2 months after I registered. Nothing too original, just replying to a thread question. It was in a thread asking what you'd do with console commands and me binding hand and head movements to notarget and noclip. Also money. Unfortunately I forgot to add a save point...
Anyway, to the point of the thread! What was your first post? Are you proud of it? Do you think it is particularly Original/Funny/Etc?
Or, if you intensely dislike your first post, use another persons that you liked. Give credit!
Again, am I seriously supposed to remember that? I have no idea what my first post was... I've been here too long, everyone who's here now either joined this year or last year. Kinda funny when you think about it, I mean you'd think most people would enjoy this site enough to hang around.

It was a comment on the Total War series, on how I wanted Empires but my laptop couldn't handle anything past Rome.

Yeah, I've become somewhat better at posting now.

I didn't know about the RP's back then.

The thread was - "What gets your goat?"

"I hate console wars, when people eating around me make noises, that @#!%in pisses me off. Also, pretty much the whole lol, omg, rofl etc. thing in real life. I don't mind it on the internet, but in real-life? That's like saying "I'm gay" at a strip club, and thinking you said "I am laughing at your expensive prices of private sessions."

Looking back, it seems kind of a...weird reply.

Anyone curious about Maxthereaper's?
His first reply was in the thread "If you could bring one imaginary character to life, who would it be?" and his reply was, and I quote.

"God."

Mine was about video games as art. I was sort of against the fact back then, but now I've come around to it.
