So far I'm clean.
I'd like to think it's because of my loveable personality and good looks.

That or the bribes.

You're totally right, I should have added a statement to explain my comment. I've edited it since.

We can see how it might be frustrating to allow content providers to express themselves in whatever means they choose, it is kind of necessitated by the kind of engagement they participate in. As entertainers, they often say or do things that would never be appropriate in the context of a normal conversation. If we allowed everyone to have this kind of freedom in the forum, the tone of the discussion here would likely degenerate very quickly.

Does that make sense?

I got a warning for making a joke about a guy who recently had bought his first gaming PC. Yeah, I kinda implied that since he was asking for a list of games, he would torrent them all because PC gamers are "filthy pirates".

Warning for "advocating piracy". lulz

I hate the forum health bar, but then again I hate the concept of regenerating health so I'm biased.

I said anyone who gave geohot money for his trial was stupid and I got a warning because I was expressing a general opinion based on the facts as I saw them. I hid behind some cover till the blood ran off my screen.
Warnings disappear?
Maybe I worded it wrong or something. Mine is clean anyway after that. It was a good few months ago. As far as I know they go away after a while. Never quite fully got it

Absolutely clean!
Though I hav'nt really been around here for long enough to cause any real trouble.
Its only a matter of time though its only a matter of time.
I can feel the moderators watching me! every time I post ,everywhere I go they're watching me!
Just waiting for the right time to slam me! But thats not going to happen if I can help it.
They're never going to get me I cant wait for them to try.
Bring it on!

The crazy thing is the health meter is more full means you are closer to death. Maybe rename forum death meter?

And this has to be the slowest regenerating health, it takes 6 months for it to go back one notch. Note, 6 months is about the longest recovery time for any kind of injury, a broken femur for example takes 6 months to heal. Kind of incongruous when I am used to hiding behind a chest-high-wall for 5 seconds to recover from several gaping chest wound vs 6 months for being a jerk.

I just wish there was more of a positive feedback, 6 months is too long of no change to condition people to follow the rules.

I do have this question about forum rules:

"Probation (Yellow)
This is your final warning. Once you receive probation, you are always on probation."

does that mean even if your health meter goes down to just-green you will still be on probation where one "low content post" equals a suspension?

Mines squeaky clean for some reason. I don't know why though it's not like I'm making an effort to keep it clean

Every time I see someone has been banned I click on the 'User has been banned for the tread: blahablahbah' to see what the naughty person has done. Do other people do this?
Yeah, I do that.
I could never stop thinking about it if I didn't.

I got a warning shortly after I signed up for making a joke about the french.. I was accused of being racist, but I'm English!

>.>

Considering some of the opinions I've expressed here over the last year I'm suprised that what what I got in trouble for.
"I'm not racist, I'm English!"
You should write that on a poster or something.

Btw, how are people looking these things up about their past? I know I have a post history in my profile but I'm not going to go through each and every post to find the one I was warned on.
A lot of people don't delete the PMs they get from mods. After all, it's fun to have so that you can look back at it in the future.

I got no warnings, but I'm sure one's comeing soon enough. I tend to get annoyed, and say stupid, pointless things, just haven't said it on the escapist yet.

Or prehaps I'll get one for commenting on a forum about how you got banned/warned, despite the fact i've never been banned/warned. ;)

I somehow have never even gotten a warning. I chalk it up to a general disinterest in debates, which seems to be where a lot of people earn modwrath. I've been an ass on occasion, but I guess I've never taken it too far.
Same here. Well, I get into debates, but I try to leave personal insults out. Attack the argument, not the person.

I've been clean for almost a year now, had 1 bar for a short post, but it vanished with the site update. Yaaaay I guess.

I don't think most escapists have scars on their record. I think most escapists are like me in that they only respond to forums very occasionally. I personally don't come to this site for the forums, I come for the news. After almost a year and about 70 posts, I've got a clean record, and hopefully it stays that way.

Yeah, I actually see you debating quite a bit. To do that and never get a warning is pretty impressive.

I tend to just avoid debates online. They often end up turning into something like the "ice cream debate" in Thank You For Smoking.

Never in my long history of posting have I ever had forum "health" issues. I am quite proud of this fact. Post-count may or may not be related.

Derp, don't know why I didn't think of that. So I looked it up and evidently one can change their username on here. Interestingly enough, the guy I got into the snarky spat with is the same guy I just recently got into another snarky spat with. I think it's meant to be.
