Using a bolt action rifle in CoD:WaW was hell. Unless you had flawless aim you couldn't kill shit because everyone and their mother had fucking juggernaut on so it took two bullets to kill them. They should have made bolt-action rifles always one hit kills because they're bolt action. Half the time your target would either run away after being hit once and shred you up as they were usually carrying the god damn MP40.

In Assassin's Creed(and 2 and Brotherhood) challenges where you aren't allowed to be detected, and I nutralize a guard with a throwing knife. Even though he wasn't even looking at me, this attack instantly alerts the guard to full red before he dies, thereby making me desynch. What the hell? It doesn't matter if he noticed me at that point, because he died before he could call for help! And half the time there's no way he even knew where the knife CAME FROM! And yet the gun draws no attention unless a guard is already looking at you. It's a GUN! They go BANG! Said bang should ALERT GUARDS WITHIN EARSHOT! And yet apparently guards can't hear a gun going off but can tell exactly the position of a knife thrower by the disturbances in the air!

Firefights in STALKER, of course. Like, I seriously used my PMm/Fort-12 more than my shotgun until I got an AKS-47/U; can't hit shit or hurt shit. And after that, enemies are friggin' bulletproof. Although it's nice how a nicely placed headshot can still down pretty much an non-Monolith baddie.

And watching capital ships move in Homeworld. I mean, jeez, any day now; preferably when the enemy is not making more units for defense. God knows hyperspacing more than one battlecruiser is incredibly expensive.

Ah, I know why. Why are almost oposite in play styles. I use guns. Small guns. Rifles and pistols. I usually run around with Maria and the Ratslayer (special 9mm and Varmin rifle) and take all kinds of things down in 1-2 shots. Going for the head. Same with the Cazadors. I go for their wings and it takes 2 shots. If you cripple their wings they can't fly which makes them a lot easier.

Try that with a death claw though it and it takes of maybe 1-2 blocks of their total health dueto their armor. When taking out the mother death claw I managed to get up on top of some sort of machine so she couldn't even reach me and just sat their for 10 minutes shooting her.

Basicly, go with bullets for their wings. It doesn't take much.
Actually, my explosive skill was only 15 when I went into a DeathClaw nest. I major with guns as well and I have a fully modded 9mm, Varmint Rifle and modded a shit load of other guns. I plan on starting to use my Energy Weapons now, for trophies and some pew pew action.
I don't know then. I use Boone and ED-E as well to pick them off from a distance. YOu use Rex I think you said so you won't see them comming.

Today, Call of Duty: Black Ops.

First map online. Played 2 minutes. 2 Minute cutscene. Hurl my ass of a cliff into Fidels place.
Kill a guy. Exit the house:
"Your actions got an member of your team killed"
Said to myself.
"I'll never, every play a CoD game again other than CoD:4"

Seriously, those wore the most unrewarding 10 minutes of my live. Yeah, I got killed 18 times during the first part of the game where you fight off some police dudes.

THAT'S NOT FUN!

Everyone. Fucking. EVERYONE. Used the MP40...

This is why fixed team based classes are better than customization. IW and Treyarch need to get their shit together and remove perks and killstreaks.
I agree I mean I like custom classes but I enjoy class-based shooters more thats why I really want to get a good computer so I can check out TF2 some time.

Nocturne is full of these moments, best example is the first Dante battle where Dante literally goes down the line and crits me and 3 party members in the same turn.

Some of the AC: Brotherhood online.
Seriously? I jump literally about 10 meters off a building to Air Assassinate this guy, and he magically just... hops out of the way? I was feckin' Incognito! Stunned me too, the bastard.
Also when they throw a smoke bomb right as you attack and you end up missing them. That's happen to me so many times. I'm also getting fed up with the morphers. I have to throw a firecracker (Just got templar vision today) and as soon as I do, they stun me with a smokebomb.

This was the only thing that came to mind. I was playing MW2 Spec. Ops. and was doing the snowmobile race. My best was only 1:17 and I didn't expect to beat it, mostly just passing time. It wasn't until the end that I saw that I could beat the 70sec limit to get 3 stars. I was yelling to go faster, I got so amped up. When I reached the finish line, I was off by .4 seconds. .4 SECONDS!!!!!

CREEPERS
FUCKING-EVERYWHERE
and of course Fawkes deciding he's not going to save your life because 'this is your destiny' although this isn't nearly as fucking annoying as not being able to leg it out of the chamber after you enter the code, or just you know, put on your radiation suit. and stroll.
Lets not forget, for the evil characters: the doors lock once you go in so you can't even run away.

Talking to the Council in Mass Effect 2.

"We can't help you that much because your working for Cerberus"

Now this would be the point where I would choose the option that said "ok, I'll stop working for them and work for you." But the game doesn't have this option. Instead I have to accept the following stupid logic:

The Council won't help you that much because you work for Cerberus.
Your working for Cerberus because the Council won't help you.

Now, any person with a shred of common sense will say "Just stop working for Cerberus. That way you can work for the Council. Everyone wins! Well except for Cerberus. But they're a terrorist organization, so screw them."

But no, you have to go along with logic that makes no sense. Because the game says so.
Because if Bioware allowed that choice, they would have to make two campaigns. Besides, they probably wouldn't accept you even if you quit, because you then have a poor track record.
