Fighting games. End bosses.

If you never fought the eternal champion then you certainly owe it to yourself never to try.

Same goes with any end boss on SNK's payroll.

Also:

Any time in any game when the objective suddenly changes on you with no prior warning.

This happens in RPG's sometimes: Bring me X number of Y and make it snappy. After X number of Y has been filing my inventory for 40 minutes suddenly I don't get my reward unless I also bring you some Z? In GTA games the drop point has now been moved to some place you have the wrong vehicle entirely for, in shooters the place I went to to open the door doesn't open the door. I could go on and on but for the most part these are contrivances cooked up by developers to stop me from having too much fun.

Every final boss in Kingdom hearts Birth by Sleep, especially the final boss in the secret ending. I spent 5 or 6 hour on his first form, what made me really say "oh come the fuck on!" was when I fought his second and final form and beat it on my first try.

I had a similar situation when I was sniping. Except every time I fired, the bullet would hit the rock the enemy was hiding behind. I could clearly see his head, and the cross hair was smack-bang on the center of his face, but every freaking shot fired...

2 clips, 1 grenade and a mortar strike later: "OH COME THE FUCK ON!!?!"
What rifle are you using? Because the accuracy on the M95 is so piss poor that you can have difficulty hitting the broad side of a barn with it, the SV98 is just a ***** to use and the M24 will still miss a couple of dead aimed shots if it just really decides to hate you...Unless you were using the GOL, then something is definitely broken.

I feel your pain....I unloaded and entire clip on one guy (30 rounds!)...half to his face half to his chest and he just keeps running at me and bam, 1 shot...im dead....WTF???
Yup, the hit detection straight up sucks in that game sometimes, I actually had another moment like this not long after I posted that message playing Squad Death Match, rocking the M416, red dot sight, mag ammo (SDM is one of the only times I ever use mag ammo) and the MP443 Grach as a sidearm, somehow I managed to unload an entire clip into someone with every bullet getting a hit marker, and only on the very last shot from my Grach did the guy finally fucking go down.

47 god damn bullets to kill a guy? With magnum ammo on? When every shot hit markered? I can see something very broken there.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. I'm flying a plane from point A to point B, because damned if I'm going to drive for three hours to get across the most sparse and boring map I have ever seen. I had nowhere to land, so I bailed, figuring I'd parachute down, except for some reason, I didn't have a parachute. I fell, bounced off of a crop-duster flying past, bounced off of a tree, then a barn, then a truck and onto the ground and lost only my armour and no health.

I wandered over to a nearby road to jack a car and complete my travels and got hit by - I shit you not - a dude on a bicycle. I died.
i joke you not, i collapsed into a heap of giggles on my chair, because i've also had so many of those moments. XD

as of recent, doing black ops on veteran gives a lot of "Fuck You" moments.
for spoiler sake
S.O.G. mission when you have to go down the hill to set off the barrels, enemies with their pin point accuracy get you before you get to the first set of barriers half-way down the hill and then have your idiot AIs not take out any of the enemies when your taking cover.

Numbers mission right near the end when you slide down that ramp and then have to take out 12 or so guys with a pistol befor they shoot you first. not aloud out of prone and if you crawl backwards you start taking damage for no reason.

for the most part i got through both of those through sheer luck, no other way around it. oh and enemy able to fine aim while sprinter towards is such a dick move.

When I played GTA: San Andreas for the first time on PC, completed a really frustrating chase-mission, and the game crashed on my way to a safehouse. FFFUUUUUU-

Fallout new vegas has many of these moments.. Most of them originating in the fact that the game freezes every 5 minutes and you have to reload.. so you have to do it all over again..

No wonder the game lasts long, you have to do everything twice..
Sadly, its more like 30-40 times...the glitching has gotten so bad I cant enter the North Gate to Vegas anymore...I have to take the train everytime to get back in. Every time I enter the north gate...it loads up to a black screen and i cant do anything....thinking I may start over from scratch and wipe out all my work ( lvl 24 ) and all my save data
Im not sure that will help, cause the glitching and freezing gets worse the longer you play, i have reached lvl 30 some time ago, and it has only gotten worse and worse..
Before i had explored many places, and done loadsa stuff, the freezing and lagging was not so bad.. And i fear that you may delete all your progress for nothing cause it will most lightly just happen again..

Do you have it on ps3?
Yea on PS3....same here, I didnt have any problems when i first started and got quite far but once i reached lvl 20 and progressed so far in the game it just freezes and glitches so much and ive lost the whole section of Vegas where the NCR Headquarters is at...cant access the area at all. I keep reading about all these patches and updated my system and did all the necessary hub-bub and still...I think Rockstar owes us all some money....

Unearthed an old Yu-Gi-Oh game for my Gameboy Advance this morning while searching for my phone.

Turns out this game decides to make it difficult by editing your opponent's deck on the fly to perfectly counter yours. Seriously, every magic or trap card I played, thinking "ha, got the fucker now" he'd reveal one of his trap cards to be a trap card which totally negated or reversed mine.

not to mention he'd randomly edit his deck to make himself draw monster cards which just HAPPEN to have 100 or so points (or only 50 points when he was feeling really cuntish) more than the value my current monster cards have.

after the 5th time attacking a face-down monster card for it to revel 2150 defense points to your 2100 attack, you stop believing in coincidences. the game is now in my bin until it can learn to stop being such a *****!

Any Final Fantasy game in which you're in this difficult battle, having one person constantly on potion duty while the others attack a boss who keeps you on your toes, and when you believe you're getting somewhere... they pull out a dick move and cripple your entire party beyond hope.

The god awful port of GTA4 on the PC, there are many WTF's with the PC version, well the initial release on PC was soooo bugged, but this particular level where you have to "jog" to keep up with Nico's gay friend in central park (I forget his name) I swear this level is so horribly broken on the PC version, as you have the option to sprint (like pounding A button on the 360) or standard walk, there is no intermediate jog speed, anyway your either to close or to far away from this guy and the mission keeps failing, towards the end I got so angry I as he was giving his "your to close to me sweetie" mission fail speech I would unload an mp5 clip right in his face out of frustration.

Managed to get past the mission eventually with a combination of walking & running, played this mission on the 360 later no problems at all.

Any timed driving section of Jak 3. The fact that the marauder AI consists solely of "aim at player and floor it until you hit something" seriously pisses me off.

Or that bug I had in Crysis (the spot where you have to destroy the little radar jamming thing on the beach or whatever)it glitched out, didn't explode after I dumped every scrap of munition i had at it, be it grenades, missiles, many many clips of bullets and even chucking stuff at it. So out of pure annoyance I run up and punch it and it explodes in my face and kills me.

Or also a match of Caravan I played in Fallout NV in which somehow me and the AI both got 26 in every stack (any higher and you lose) it was my turn, and my only choice was to clear out a stack, which would also cause me to lose because the AI would then have superior cards thus creating a completely unwinnable situation. It's a damn good thing I saved before that match too, I bet every cap I had.

I guess all we can do is wait for a patch, hopefully it gets better then.
But talking from past experience with these guys, the ps3 version is the last to recieve any patch, if we get some patch at all that is..
