In an FPS, if I have the option, I will ALWAYS try to ambush my enemies with melee rather then use guns. I also like to talk to people im playing with (wheather its online, split screen or, if Im alone, just the TV) in voices that corrispond with the game Im playing. Ill also spout one liners and try to be as dramatic as possible. And if I run out of bullets, I will always go kamikazi and try to blow up as many of my enimies as possible, even though it wont make a difference when I have to restart the level.
Really? No way! Mine is to call out pricks who drop into a thread to say that despite the search bar yielding nothing similar that has recently been done.

Well then welcome You'll find that as reasonable and friendly as a lot of us are, there'll be a good few whose only reason to be on the forums seems to be to annoy people.
None come to mind for myself, but I know a guy who researches every aspect of the storyline of a game if he picks it up so much as once, and if the game has customizable characters, he writes a complete and full backstory for his character.
I've solo'd every MMO I've ever played (WOW, Eve online, Guild wars, Warhammer, etc), which kind of defeats the purpose of playing them online I suppose. However when I play single player RPG's like Oblivion, KOTOR, Mass Effect, I seem to think to myself "I wish i could play this with my buddies at a lan party..."
I rage, ALOT. Hence my Gamertag (Raging Dave) but yea if I'm not shouting to myself at the people online, I complain at the bots.
A funny example is when I was playing GRID my teammate (Gareth Masters - AI) kept rear-ending me instead of overtaiking me normally, and I kept shouting "OHH FFS GARY PISS OFF!"
It got quite amusing when my dad walked in whilst I was shouting.
I tend to fiddle with the volume dial and voice on/off switch on my mic jack for my xbox controller. I guess it a nervous habit that annoys the hell outta poeple that can here the click, click, click of my mic coming on and going off. Fun stuff during COD or BF:BC.

I have a quirk that's kind of a spinoff of this. As we all know, mouses can get messy. After some hours of gaming the "ick" feel goes to my mouse-hand. I have to wash my hands every couple of hours when PC gaming.
1: I must explore every square inch of a map in any adventure game or RPG. If I don't, I get a niggling feeling in the back of my mind that I missed something so important there that I usually turn back. If I can't ever go back, I will quicksave every ten feet and explore as much as possible, all the while hating myself and the game for doing this to me.
2: In any online shooter, mostly COD4, I will shoot corpses to show the owner just how little I respect them. I have no idea why they would care or even notice, but if they really piss me off I'll unload a few bullets in their dead body.
3: In any RPG or adventure where the items you equip affect your character's appearance, I will try for hours and hours to strike a balance between what looks awesome and what gives me great stats. My characters in the KOTOR games were notoriously squishy for this exact reason, and let's not even talk about my WoW character because it is embarrassing. At least they look fucking stunning.
4: I am one of those guys who, while playing a game, will lean into it. I.E. melee attacking an enemy in an FPS, I will smash the melee button with such vigor that you would think that button is my enemy. I will lean into turns in racing games. In MGS4, where
you're riding on the Boss's motorcycle
I would find myself ducking under vehicles as they flew overhead.
NO WAY, so I'm not the only one! Yeah, I feel like it does something for me. I also just go out of my way to be annoying as hell when I play that game with my little brother. Like select the soldier as my character and all I do is make him stand there and scream until my brother finds me...and silences me. I just do the most annoying thing possible for hours in that game.
