I have the exact same thing, I've spent hours perfecting my character in Oblivion.Da_Schwartz said:In depth character creation. I can spend an hour sometimes more doing facial textures..hair styles..costumes etc etc etc. And on many occasions have even been know to flat out dump a game and restart if it doesn't look how i wanted it too rendered in game. Even if I'm a few levels in already.
That makes two of us. The majority of my DS games are Pokemon themed (although I rarely buy games for DS). Oh, and Monster Hunter. I love that game series.MontyGommo said:This is true for me too ><poncho14 said:Pokemon games. They are the same every time but I must buy.
I even bought those crappy Ranger and Mystery Dungeon ones![]()
seconded, especially with new, GOOD games becoming progressivley cheaper (most games released within the last year are now about 40 bucks where I live) it's getting harder and harder to resist the amazing bargains, even though I'm saving up for a new arcade stick (old one broke somehow :[ )minispike47 said:ANY cheap game, Endwar was £10 so I bought it. Dark Sector war £5 so I bought it, Viking Battle for Asguard was £10 so I bought it. There are so many more.
Damn cheap games!
and heres something to help you out: anything oddworld, they have gone out of buisness so it will be hard to find and when you do its GOING to be in a bargin binDaymo said:Yeh cheap games are so tempting, but finding a good one is like finding a needle in a haystack, unless you do a bit of reasearch beforehand.Fat_Hippo said:I have a tendency to buy anything in a bargain bin. No matter how bad and pointless the game might be. Well, okay, at least I didn't buy this: http://www.astragon.de/productsimages/Bagger-Simulator 2008 Packshot 3D_final.jpg
ever try settlers of catan or carcassonne? their board games that have been adapted on the xbox live arcade, you might want to try them outSimuLord said:Any city-builder or historical trade sim, no matter how mediocre, I always buy them and always end up going back to Patrician 3 and Tropico/SimCity 4 because they're better examples of the genre.
Sonic, I've loved that little hedgehog since day one, and while as impossibly hard as the game is, I'm enjoying Sonic Unleashed. I also liked 06, apart from it being a glitchy clusterfuck.MontyGommo said:I was doing some random shopping with my girlfriend today when I noticed the new Harry Potter game was out.
At first I thought to myself, "I bet it will be the same old HP game - linear gameplay with clunky and unresponsive controls. I don't need to buy it"
So we moved on from the store and continued our shopping...
1 hour later, with Harry Potter fever reaching its pitch in my head, I rushed back to the store and purchased the game.
I KNEW it was going to be EXACTLY the same as all the other ones I have sitting on my shelf... Just as I knew it when I bought the last HP game. I get home and start playing, only to find that, if anything, it's actually worse. It seems I will never learn.
To the topic at hand, it made me wonder if I could be the only one with such a weakness. I reasoned I probably am the only one for HP games, but what about others?
Whats your gaming weakness?
