This thread is hilarious, everyone thinks they're being really modern and accepting in giving the verbal equivalence to a shrug as their response, as if sodomy is so commonplace and accepted that it barely merits a response, but in reality openly accepting his homosexuality would be quite difficult for your hypothetical son and a little more than "Uh, yeah, whatever" emotionally detached dick-dad response probably wouldn't go amiss.

I have no intention of having kids, no doubt the initial disapointment of my girlfriend deciding we're having them would leave me disapointed-out for life, so I doubt I'd have the energy left over to be disapointed with him being gay. Suppose I'd be proud or something in its place, depending on circumstance of course (not a big fan of lieing in general).
