In WoW on a PvP server (playing Horde) I found an Alliance and after he helped me fight off a couple bears we helped each other for about 2 hours.
There was a time in Metal Gear Solid 2 near the end where you had to get somewhere in a time limit and I noticed a guard and he didn't notice me... I knew I would never have to go back into that room and never see him again, but for some reason I just decided to kill him. You might know him as the guy in the one room with all the conveyor belts who was listening to headphones and not even paying attention to you at the end of the game... but I shot him in the head and I immediately felt awful. So I ran outside and jumped right off of the ledge so when I respawned I walked over to where he was, looked at him for a couple of seconds, and then ran off and let him live. Ever since then, I feel bad about killing someone and if I can I never shoot anyone who doesn't shoot me first.Roofstone said:This goes for games like Hitman, Thief, Sly Cooper, Metal Gear.

In Fable 1, while on an evil playthrough, I was gonna kill that merchant running away, but when I caught up with him he 'thanked me for saving him' and gave me a resurrection potion. I was dumbfounded and let him escape.
