Your last three game purchases.. and were they worth it?

Assassins Creed 2 - No, didn't enjoy it at all.
Mass Effect 2 - Yes, one of the most wonderful games I've ever played (and the first one bored me to tears)
Fallout: New Vegas - A thousand times yes!

Mass Effect also bored me out of my skull. I didn't get too far into it I was so bored. Were I to pick up Mass Effect 2, would I really be missing much not having finished part 1?

My last 3? I'm a cheap bastard.

1) Fable 2, not 3. Got it for $9.50. So far, terrific game. I read 3 is even better and will pick it up when I can get it for $20 or less.
2) A combo pack: Forza 3 and Halo ODST $30. Very worth it. ODST is early gen 7 graphics given when it was released, but, they do well enough what they need to. I hear Reach is tweaked and looks more like current gen 7 releases. Ebay.
3) Crysis combo: includes both Crysis and Warhead, and a multi player game, $20 from Ebay. Putting my new PC I built through its paces. Plays well at high settings, and is a fun FPS.

Tenchu Shadow Assassins:Surprisingly yes! I enjoyed it immensely!

Prince of Persia Forgotten Sands (Wii version): Same as above. I actually liked it better than the PC version.

Serious Sam HD - sure. nice, visceral brainless fun. Cheap.
Civ V - no way. Horrible game (and I liked IV)

Professor Layton and the lost future - got for £30 and still playing through, quite fun so far.

Mario and Luigi - Bowser's inside story - got for £30 and quite fun to play through.

Super Smash bros brawl - YES! YES! YES! found a used copy in my nearest HMV shop and I still enjoy going online and battling everyone else.

BLUR - Pretty good fun. Barely anyone online though.

My last three purchases were so long ago I'm not even sure I remember them.

Lost Planet 2 might have been one. I got it for $50 AUD, which is half price over here, just after it came out because it was so terrible. Since I only bought it to play with a friend who bought the game, this was good. And I'd say it was worth it. We played for over fifty hours, all told, and time spent with friends is time well spent.

Final Fantasy XIII. Shelled out for the Collector's Edition. Was $120. I think. While I wasn't completely happy with the game, I never regretted the money spent. I like the cast, for instance, and the battles are fun. And I am a die hard Final Fantasy fan, so I guess it is hard to regret buying an FF game. Oh, and the soundtrack is bloody excellent. One of my favourite video game soundtracks ever.

Heavy Rain was the other. Well, I think it was. I also got the Collector's Edition of this. $120 as well, I think. Give or take $10. Again, not completely satisfied with the game, felt that the game was somewhat falsely advertised, since you could not customise your playthroughs to the extent they implied, but it is a new type of game, it was a lot of fun the first time, had an interesting story, and I hope it encourages developers to try new things. If my money contributes to that worthy goal, it'll be beyond worth it.

Halo Reach - My first Halo game, I wish I'd invested in a brick to erase this game from my memory

Red Dead Redemption - It's ok, it's fun but it's a bit too big with not much in it

Pokemon Black in September. Completely and awesomely worth every yen I paid.

Monster Hunter 2nd last month. I want my 800 yen back. The game's a fried turd.

Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 2 last week. I'm enjoying it. To me it's definitely worth more than the 900 yen I paid for it.

Erm... purchases? Well, I'll go with the last 3 games I got since I preordered a few and trying to figure out when I actually payed for them is too confusing... Anyway...

New Vegas - So far, yes. But I wish I could find some ammo for a decent gun.

Shaun White Skateboarding - For the 20 minutes I played, it was pretty fun and a nice concept. Problem was, they didn't tell you how to do anything, so it turned into a "is this like Skate or Tony Hawk control wise" game for 5-10 minutes.

Frontlines Fuel of War - Umm... uhh... it was $3 on Steam and still installing, so... dunno yet.
