Eternal Sonata: A very pretty JRPG and definitely a yes.

Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep: I've loved every Kingdom Hearts game so far and this did not dissapoint.

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West: Amazing story + amazing characters + amazing graphics = Amazing game. It rivals Red Dead Redemption for my favorite game of the year.

Wow, I have to dig back a couple of years to find the last three games I purchased.

NHL 08 (Xbox 360) (~ 21 months ago) - So-so, there are both better and worse in the series.
Extermination (PS2) (~ 2 years ago) - I played very little of it. It was an okay survival horror but there are much better out there.

uhh...

uhh...

?

I cannot remember any further ba...

Oh wait!

NHL Rock the Rink (PS1) (~2 years ago) - Childhood favourite. I heart this game!

um....... fuck..... this is sad, i can't remember my last 3 games i bought. all i remember is Audiosurf... i really haven't got any new games... oh wells, its my birthday in 10 days so i'll probably be buying with my money SC2, KH:BBS, Dungeon Defenders, Fallout:NV, Fable 3, and once i get all those, i'll think of what to buy next.

and yes, i'd say Audiosurf was worth it.

EDIT: I REMEMBER THE ONE I GOT BEFORE AUDIOSURF NOW! it was garrys mod, and that was DEFINITELY WORTH IT!

Halo Reach-Yeah it's good, haven't played it all that much, but I'm planning on doing so soon.
New Vegas-Very good, if a little (okay a lot-le) buggy.
Alpha Protocol-Aye, it was cheap and kept me entertained for a few play throughs.

God of War 3 - Holy Mother of Fuck that's good!
Prince of Persia (the reboot) - Great game, if a bit repetitive. Definitely 15$ well spent.
Syphon Filter 1 on PSN - Haven't played it yet, I guess I should get to that...

New Vegas: Awesome in (almost) every way.

The Orange Box: Overhyped, but still very good.

Burnout Paradise: Okay, so a friend bought it. But it still (kinda) counts. Anyway, it's very entertaining.

Although I'm not positive, I believe the last three games I purchased with my own money were Resident Evil 5, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and Demon's Souls. The first one was fun, but that's probably only because I played it online co-op with my friend. Had it just been me, I probably wouldn't have enjoyed it as much.

BC2 is a similar situation - the single player campaign was appalling, whereas I've gotten well over 120 hours of pure, unadulterated fun out of the multiplayer. So yes, that was definitely a worthwhile purchase.

I haven't played Demon's Souls yet, but it was only 32 dollars, so as long as it's reasonably enjoyable, I'll have gotten my moneys worth.

The only game I've actually bought in recent memory is Halo: Reach, which was well worth my £40. Other than that, my other games are mostly birthday presents, which come in batches.

The basic order of the last 3 games I received in some fashion, from latest to earliest, goes Halo: Reach, Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect. All amazing games.

Mafia II - At first I loved the game but I slowly realised it's really not that good and the checkpoint system made me give up along with a bug in the last boss. Not worth it

Halo: Reach - Speaks for itself, obviously worth every penny

Enslaved - See Halo: Reach

Mass Effect 2 playing it right now is really good, just not as good as the first to must FPS not enough RPG.

Hitman 1 have played them from 2, so when I saw the first game I had to buy it, haven't played it. But it don't see how I could be disappointed.

Star Wars Knights Of Old Republic loved every minute of it, it have eared are room among my favourite games.

fallout new vegas. yes worth it but fallout 3 seemed better. waiting on some dlc.

medal of honour. 3 days ago i would have said it wasnt worth it. but i have played some over the past 2 days and it seems to be a lot less snipey and inta kill after spawning. so at the moment im going to say worth it.

Battlefield badcompany 2. single player ok but short like most games but the multiplayer just didnt click with me so it wasnt worth it. played like 10 hours including the single player so complete waste of money.
