You know all you had to do was reload the autosave. You would have been right in that room again.

OT: My most annoying moment? Probably when I tried running away from two mechs and ended up taking cover when I wanted to sprint away. Nothing is more annoying then sinking 2 minutes worth of ammo (I don't use heavy weapons a lot)into these guys shields just to die in 2 seconds.

ROFLMAO, you aren't going to let that go any time soon, are you? ;-)
And yeah, Jack is just a hard assed ***** with shockwave as her only redeeming feature (and not even that if you have it yourself...) They sure didn't try to make her likeable!

I don't know... I mean, sure, she is a psychotic angsty *****, but the first thing she does? Punches a tank-mech in the face.

That first impression kept her tolerable for a long time.

They just wanted an excuse to have a half naked chick on your squad. I never used her. She never lived up to her intro. I wanted the Jack that could singlehandedly free herself from a maximum security prison. I think she used up all her power on that prison ship.

OT: I enjoy playing as adept, but there were several times where I had to restart because a perpetually dying enemy was stuck in a singularity somewhere I could not see, screaming their guts out. The story would not proceed until I killed whoever was screaming. And I really, really wanted to end their misery after searching for ten minutes. :(

Oh, and the collector ship on Insanity. It has ruined my week. I was actually enjoying insanity up to that point. Bastards.

Mining for resources. I don't mind grinding, I've come to accept it as part of playing an rpg. However what really pisses me off is that the upgrades can cost so FUCKING much.

Thank you for creating this thread so I didn't have to.

This happened to me last night.

2nd play through of Mass Effect (1st run thru nil bugs encountered). I've rescued Liara and killed the Thorian. Now on Noveria for the Rachni thing.

I get to Peak 15 and start clearing, fixing the puzzles etc. I haven't played for so long that I've forgotten where the big showdown with Benezia is, I haven't saved since entering the Peak, and I stumble into the end boss fight. No sweat I think to myself, I've got all lvl IX/X gear, she's going down like a sack in a few seconds. I run up the stairs but before I can unload the pain Benezia hits me with her biotic/telekinetic shit. Now Shepard is flopping around on the ground like a dying fish (for 5 controller-breaking minutes), but I also can't do anything else - no menu, nothing - but pan the camera and watch the flopping before she finally kills him. Damn I say - no problem, I'll restart. It loads up, and I'm back at the entrance to Peak 15.

Fuck.
The same thing happened to when I was making a new character. Seriously what bs is that when you apparently are possessed by a magikarp and forced to watch as hours of gameplay go right down the toilet.

On a more serious note, I haven't really had much trouble with the Mass Effect games. My only major gripe would have to be
on the planet where you meet Kaidan/Ashley (depending on who survived in ME1) and have to fight your way to the computer, so you can get the GARDIAN-cannons working... two Scions is not fun at Veteran D:<
Heh, Veteran. Try it on Insanity ;)

There are no missions in Mass Effect 2! I'm always running out of money and having no way to replenish it, damn it, and I have to go out looking for every damn mission. I actually kind of like doing that, but cmon, gimme at least a few missions that are easy to pick up. The first game made sure that I always had about three missions to do at any given time, why can't this game?
