Fallout 3, just never got into it.

The gun play was really boring and there aren't much actions, also really buggy, it was such a mess.

Similar feeling for Oblivion, man I'm never gona buy anything from Betheda, ever. Unless is something that's not a RPG.

Wow, a lot of people didn't like Spore. I thought it was okay.

But I was disappointed with Star Wars: Force Unleashed. Good graphics and physics do not make up for balancing issues and crappy controls.

I think title explains itself. Mine would be Fable, Morrowind, Oblivion (I'll explain them in a second), and maybe Battle for Middle Earth.

Now, I'm sure that there's going to be some people who are Bethesda Fanboys or simply want to know the reason for my choice, in Morrowind and Oblivion I felt that it didn't make much use of it's world and setting. I mean, you check one part of the world, and you basically have seen say the equivalent of 50 hours of the game world. The NPC's didn't show much, say, real interaction between each other as well they could have been, also I do not like much the RPG system.

Anyway, what are your most disappointing games?
Oblivion is my most hated game ever, next would be Far Cry II and Mass Effect II.
Notice a pattern here? They're all sequels!
LOL, that's because they didn't surpass the originals, which they were supposed to be. Except TES, they all sucked.

GoldenEye Rogue Agent. It wasn't bad, but it was nothing like what was promised. That had the potential to be so much more. The idea of playing a ridiculous Bond villain!? How fucking awesome would that be if they did it right?

My list:

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion: I thought it'd be a fun RPG... Y'know, maybe Morrowind with a better atmosphere and fun combat? MAybe throw in some actual role-playing? I'm so glad I never bought it, and only played my mom's now-ex's copy...

Baldur's Gate series: Just... no. Those controls, UGH... same reason I don't like Planescape: Torment. Great writing doesn't make up for gameplay that's absolutely no fun....

Power Rangers DinoThunder: Laugh all you want. I'm 20 and I love Power Rangers... But man, this game SUCKS... They even made MEgazord battles suck. MEGAZORD BATTLES!!! Not even the inclusion of Wild Force and Ninja Storm zords help...

Pokemon SoulSilver: I LOVE the Pokewalker, but Pokemon's combat is just plain old crap noawadays... I completely regret buying this game...

There's a few others, but I won't list them now...

GTA 4, Bioshock and Half-Life. According to the internet they're the Gods of Videogames. To my brain they all had horrible gunplay, lack luster story (nonexistent in GTA4)and in the case of Bioshock, is ended up being a frantic search for health packs. It wasn't even scary, the "scariest" part was hoping I could get to the next part without being killed. And it wasn't Dead Space where if you die it's horrible to watch, you just kind of fall to the ground.
I still do not understand why did you didn't like HL, it is my favorite game. Not that I disagree with your opinion, but I cannot get it why you do not like it.

And also Fallout 3 isn't as interesting as the original ones. Sure, it's fun to play it as an FPS, but it doesn't even compare to the originals. Also, WTF, you have been registered for one year and only have 13 posts? You are the second most inactive person on the escapist that I know (not trying to offend).

Not a fan of prototype, ok super powers, zombies, military, sounds amazing right? wrong. it had bad graphics and became rather repetitive after i unlocked everything, that only took 3-4 missions.

Red Alert 3

EA systematically destroyed the C&C series after Westwood was removed from the equation. I was hugely excited because I'm a big Red Alert fan. I finished the campaigns in a couple of days and got bored with the Skirmish mode in a couple of hours.

The story was horrible and didn't actually fit in the RA universe. The whole "Tactics" part of the game had been sucked out of it by making sure that everything was so perfectly balanced that there wasn't a great deal of differences in the three factions. The fact that half the units + bases could be built on water was a horrible idea, once again eliminating half the "tactical" part of the game considering you could now go ANYWHERE on the map (all of which were tiny).

The only redeeming features were Tim Curry and David Hasselhoff.

But that's just one disgruntled former fans opinion...
This. Also Spore, that was some serious disappointment.

Either Auto Modellista or Enter the Matrix for the PS2. Between Auto's pinball machine physics and Matrix's overall mediocrity, I can't think of worse examples of over hyped turds. Both were games that I jumped on without hearing any reviews, and I haven't done that since.

Far Cry 2, thank GOD I decided to rent it first.

BioShock: I was told it was the holy grail of gaming. I hated it. I can appreciate the amazing story and cool setting. But the gameplay was horrid. I freakin' love BioShock 2 though.

Too Human. Piece of junk. Really short too.

Too Human, I have always like Norse mythology, but those 10 minute death scenes every 5 minutes...
