Deathclaws are by far the most dangerous monster in the whole game. If you fear anything more then you fear a deathclaw, you are deranged.

EDIT: apart from Behemoths, but those don't count.

The albino Rad Scorps. Those things just do not die! I used to fear Deathclaws but I found that whilst hidden, Lincoln's Repeater does a one-shot head-shot kill when in full repair. Also the Super Mutant Behemoths are a pain in the arse but a few shots with a dart gut, a few with the Gauss Cannon and finished off with A3-21's Plasma Rifle usually does the trick.

Albino Rad Scorpions. They're pure evil and I think the developer that came up with them needs to be killed.
Ive never come across them. Where are they usually?
They can be found in the same places as regular radscorpions, but they're much rarer. I've only seen two since I downloaded Broken Steel. I didn't think that they were that much worse than regular old giant radscorpions, but that's not really saying much. Also, the second one I saw got stuck behind a rock and couldn't reach me. Thank you collusion glitches...
Ahh thanks a Broken steel addition then.. Strange that i havent come across them then.

I avoid anything scorpion looking, giant, small or any other variety, which could probably be why i havent seen them.

Always found deathclaws ridiculously easy to kill. I wear the chinese stealth suit at all times and it takes 2 hits with most f my weapons in vats to kill on thanks to sneak crits. Giant rascorpions. I just crouch with the stealth suit whenever I detect one so not to engage them
That's the exact same tactic I employ. It's simple, safe and stealthy. Sometimes it makes the game a little too easy, so now I'm playing through again using only the silenced pistol and Occam's Razor. That should pose a more difficult challenge.

The first deathclaw I found. It came from behind. I was level 5. What the hell, Bethesda?

EDIT: To continue:

Fire ants, I encoutered Grayditch before Megaton. That should give you a hint of where I was in terms of level.

Every time I make a new character now I go to Superdupermart for loot after selling most of my vault 101 gear in Megaton. Every time I get there I come across the refrigerator and Giant Radscorpian random encounter.

Also as a side note the Chinese stealth suit breaks the game. I killed everyone in Megaton with the BB gun with the help of that armor.
EDIT2: And the dart gun. Once I got that deathclaws, behemoths and yao guai were not scary anymore.

Good cheese comes from happy cows. Happy cows come from California.

NOT giant rad scorpions since all u have to do is stand on top of a car and the most trouble you'll have then is deciding which one liner you want to blurt out b4 u take the final shot

most feared enemy is deathclaw for 2 main reasons

1. they can jump high, far and fast meaning there are no shortcuts to beating them, they can get to u pretty much anywhere and believe no distance is too much distance when it comes to these guys since they also sprint like kenyans

2. the defence and attack .... even if u wear epic armour those things will have you dead in no more than 4 hits ... their def is godlike and they're almost fully resistant to explosives

i take them out by using the hunters rifle to cripple the legs then blasting the head multiple times with a combat shotgun (both100% repaired)

i've killed armies of deathclaw in that town they took over and nested in all the way to the north ... but no matter how many i kill i can NEVER shake the "OMFG HOLY CRAP NOT AGAIN!!!" feeling when i see one

I hate the Feral Ghouls. Weaker versions I'm fine with but I hate the Roamers, and Glowing Ones. I've found fire to be effective against them so I use the Flamer and Shishkebab.

I also hate Yao Guais because of how fast and strong they are. I still haven't really figured out what is effective against them.

WHAT!!! i have 100 sneak, 100 repair and 100 small guns ... with a fully upgraded hunters rifle headshot with sneak critical does almost nothing!! most i pray for is a crippled leg (see my last post)

My most feared enemy is not really that dangerous or anything, but I just had a really bad first experience with them: fire ants.

I was just walking around in the Capital Wasteland, trying to find my way to a city, when suddenly I found myself in the ruins of another one. I saw some ants in the distances and started shooting them. They couldn't hit me, I could hit them. It was a nice XP bonus. I continued when I suddenly see three of the ants rushing towards me. No problem, I thought, I can kill them with one or two headshots. And then they suddenly started to fucking BREATHE FIRE at me.

I still don't want to get near the ugly fuckers...
god i remember my first fire ant encounter ... seemed no matter what i did i couldn't get out of their damn range

FIRE FUCKING ANTS
This. After losing Fawkes to a Behemoth that I ended up having to kill with a 10mm pistol, Fire Ants are officially the only things that terrify me.

I have those same stats too and when wearing the Chinese Stealth Suit I find that with Linc's. Rep. I have no trouble at all. One head-shot is enough. Are you using Ol' Painless or just a standard Hunting Rifle? As that would make a big difference. I don't know why, but I never use Hunting Rifles myself, I prefer to use Biwwy's Wazer Wifle as my weapon of choice and have the Repeater for Deathclaws, the Dart Gun for Behemoths, the Victory Rifle for the long range shots and the Silenced Pistol for being really sneaky.

Definitely the Deathclaw. Having to run around Deathclaw sanctuary to look for that laser gatling gun was the single scariest moment in gaming history.
A few Dart Gun shots to the legs slow them down enough to get some good distance for a Mini Nuke up the arse.

Other than them, anytime you piss off a whole town, the residents can be pretty annoying enemies. They come from out of no where (especially in Megaton) and they all have guns all of a sudden... Or maybe they had them the whole time and I killed things too quickly to notice.
