- Annoying fanservice. Unlike most people, I will be the first to admit that a bit of fanservice doesn't necessarilly hurt a show. But when it is done frequently and/or in a "in your face" manner, it starts to get annoying even when you are the intended audience....especially when you are the intended audience. I can't recall her name, but there is a female character in Bleach who's breasts are so enormous that you literally have trouble paying attention to the show.
Rangiku Matsumoto
No, I mean another character. The one with the bandana on her head, who keeps smoking something and provides a rocket for Ichigo and his friends so they can get into Soul Society.

Girls who are main characters and have small breasts... and continue to hate themselves for not having larger ones... And their love interest constantly staring at girls with larger boobs...

Doesn't anyone realize that small breasts are the perfect size..? Gravity has lost this battle...

NO! THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE! I CANNOT BE KILLED!!! NOOOOOOOOOO

*blasted in a huge fireball*

Or.

- My ultimate technique!! YOU ARE FINISHED!!!

boom, booom, booooooom

- There's no way he survived, he must've been destroyed!

Within 15 seconds to 3 episodes from now:

- You thought you could defeat me? Insert Cliche Phrase (worst case - "You are too weak to destroy me!", best being "IT'S MY TURN NOW!!").

Also, what Bleach, Dragon Ball, Slayers and others do - show a super-strong character, then show another even more super character, then EVEN STRONGER.

In Slayers:

Oh, no, it's Gaav, the Demon Lord!! We can't defeat him!!

(mysterious character kills him in 5 seconds after appearing)

Oh no, it's the Hellmaster! We totally have no chance now!!!

(5 minutes before the end of the last episode, new power of the protagonist destroys the previous boss)

IT'S THE MOTHER OF DARKNESS, LORD OF NIGHTMARES... this is getting ridiculous, she's the most powerful being in the universe! Or... could she be just under the top... Well, we'll never know.
Ironic considering your avatar is from Gurren Laggen.
Yes, but Gurren Laggen is a parody of these stereotypes.

My least favorite anime cliche? Pretty much these wastes of skin.
Go learn Japanese. Subs suck.

HAI! I AM JA-PA-NEEZ VOICE ACTRESS RIKA RIKAMOTO! I SOUND LIKE EVERY OTHER JAPANESE FEMALE VOICE ACTOR! I'M ALSO AN ABHORRENT SINGER! I'M 25 AND SOUND LIKE A 5 YEAR OLD! TEEHEEHEE *wink, jiggle*

Face facts, kid. You like dopey, moaning girlymen and screeching harpy-women because you fear actual emotion, dialect, and variety in your voices.
I'd call you the reason every anime is reskinned and released 10 more times under new titles, but I already know how the Japanese view weeaboos. And it's quite funny, actually.

Now like I said, o-tard, go learn some Japanese instead of reading your inaccurate, wooden fansubs and bland, half-translated official subs. As they say: dubs have gotten better since the 80s, but subs always stay the same. :3
"HAI! I AM JA-PA-NEEZ VOICE ACTRESS RIKA RIKAMOTO! I SOUND LIKE EVERY OTHER JAPANESE FEMALE VOICE ACTOR! I'M ALSO AN ABHORRENT SINGER! I'M 25 AND SOUND LIKE A 5 YEAR OLD! TEEHEEHEE *wink, jiggle*" this applies to both
i just watch sub cause it sounds less stupid
You strike me as not very smart or discerning, which probably explains the anime you watch.
You didn't actually listen to that before you posted it, did you? Certainly, if you didn't watch anime aimed at mentally-challenged teenage girls who draw erotic fanart in their spare time, said actress's laundry list of anime stereotypes might sound better, eh?
How perfect that some snot-nosed otaku brat wouldn't even be able to tell when someone is making fun of them.

But you've made it clear: If you can't understand the 25 year old Japanese woman (who will be sent off to the glue factory soon enough and replaced with the newest 19-year-old sensation who sounds just like her) screeching like she's getting her skin peeled off in the recording booth, it's better, especially when you have 5 of them in a single show equally serving no purpose to the plot (and whose voices will naturally be more varied in the dub).

I think their are plenty of good american voice acted animes. Cowboy bebop was fine, hell even Dragonballz was pretty good.

There are a few things that bother me.

Why is it that women in some animes ALL have FF breasts? Look at Bleach. Orihime, Rangiku, Kûkaku, Nel as an adult, and Harribel (3rd Espada) all have oversized breasts. Just off the top of my head. True, there are a lot of other female characters that don't, Rukia for example, but these are a lot of major characters that have oversized breasts! Why? It was unnecessary.

How some things are drawn out. Once more, in Bleach, when Ichigo first uses his Bankai, it takes like 5 minutes for him to actually do it. There was a ridiculous "Power Up" time in there. In the manga, he said something to the effect of "I'm gonna use my Bankai" and two pages later he had used his Bankai. No long exposition. Just done. I actually wonder if the DBZ manga has this problem as well.

More than all other things though. FILLER! FILLER! FILLER HELL! Oh my God, the filler! I hate filler. Naruto had some of the worst ever. It was just "monster of the week" type stories. It never made sense. Just an excuse to make Naruto and these random ninja team up for some reason. There were like 200 episodes of filler. Bleach had two seasons worth with the Bount, but at least it had a single story.

Yeah, I know I'm mentioning Bleach and Naruto alot in this post, but seriously, they are bad offenders of that and everyone knows them.

Example? From the last 10 years would be the most acceptable, but I'm less than worried about you naming examples older than that as well.

Hell, if we went back to when anime was first hitting American shores, you probably wouldn't even have been born yet. =P

EDIT: Wait... your issue is with voice acting or translation? You seem to be confusing yourself, which certainly isn't out of the question if you're talking about translating from a language you don't understand.

Well Gurren is definitely a parody of anime cliches, but what is the actual translation of that? I don't know :p

If you read, my hatred is Giant Robots. However, Code Geass did robots well, because the show did not revolve around Giant Robots.

I think the biggest anime cliche I hate the most has to be the reactionary styles. I know it's intended to be overblown, but some of them just get really annoying. The only other thing I can say I don't like about anime isn't itself a cliche, but I really don't like androgynous characters, though that is more of a personal taste thing.
