It wasn't me playing per-se but my friend, who is deftly scared of Dead Space 2 for some reason, was convinced by me and another friend to play Dead Space and almost shat himself in fear, and I got it all on video :3.

I also nearly shat myself when I beat Killzone 2 on Elite difficulty when I wasn't able to beat it on Hard. I stood up and shouted "YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHH!!!!!".

Or when I beat Demon's Souls, nearly shat myself it was so damn hard.

OR when my brother and I beat the Lao Sahn in Monster Hunter Freedom, only to get raped by the Fatalis. Still, we both ran over and high-fived the shit out of eachother's hands.

So many good times to list really. All of them involving something to do with shit. :S

Me and some friends were discussing this subject a while ago and I was wondering,
What is your most memorable gaming moment?
By this I mean to say: out of all games you ever played, what were the moments you still remember as awesome, shocking, terrifying, hard or extremely funny?
Mine were probably the haunted house level in Timesplitters 3 ( when i played the game i was very young and easily scared.) and completing Gears of War 2's last level on Insane ( halfway through the game i got stuck at some parts and i died A LOT ).
A man chooses....a slave obeys...

also compander shepard head butting a krogan....makes me giggle with mad delight everytime

Halo Reach Team Swat on Reflection. My whole team quit right at the start, leaving only my friend and I to fight the five players on the other team. It eventually got to 49 to 49 with only a few seconds left in the match. As I wandered around the map, I saw someone and took my shot, putting a shot through their head milliseconds after time ran out. So it was a draw, but still, I enjoyed it.

A lot of TL;DR in this thread. Is anyone actually giving a shit about what everyone else types and not just posting their stuff and leaving?

Anyways: Kind of hard to decide... There's a lot of "THIS IS SO EPIC" moments... a lot of "I can't believe I just pulled off such a masterfull move/kill/killing streak"'s...

Probably among the best has got to be the very FIRST minute I played a MMO. I was so fucking amazed, I couldn't believe what was happening before my eyes, and I couldn't sleep for the entire night. And the MMO was one of those shitty free to play games, FlyFF I believe it was called.

The other most memorable moment could easily be that one time I won a local amateur tournament alongside a friend in a Mortal Kombat game (can't remember which one was...). We just went to the place to check what was going on, decided to join the competition, and ended up winning it. It was FUCKING EPIC. Also: First time I played on a 300 inch screen. Gotta love projectors.

Also the countless tournaments and ranked matches I've played in Metal Gear Online 2. Best online experience I've had ever, and I still play it. Over 1500 hours worth of pure fun in that game, and it never gets old

Amnesia was definitely pretty memorable, at least the parts of it that haven't been burned from my mind.
That chat with Sovereign in ME1 was pretty good too.
But what is certainly the most memorable sentence of my gaming career:
"Local spike! GTFO!" (EVE Online)

Agreed. To both of those. The ending of Red Dead Redemption was absolutely shocking and made that game. All of Brutal Legeand was amazing. My first rush match in Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

I'm going to go with memories that I'm pretty sure no one else has.

1. Cod 4 modern Warfare 1: During the mission one shot one kill when your defending yourself at the ferris wheel. It took me two weeks to beat that mission on veteran difficulty, but somewhere at about ten days I made it to the end, grabbed micmillan, ran to the chopper, cried tears of joy that I wasn't shot, and then the helicopter takes off when i'm one foot from boarding. I then get riddled with bullets as I stare at the sky, and then proceed to obliterate my controller and cry.

2. left 4 dead 2: during dead center chapter one me and an xbox live friend named keey were playing as the infected. The game starts and we attack and kill the survivors on the stairwell at the beginning. They ragequit, and I proceed to say "I ever tell you about the time me and my buddy keey murdered the survivors at the start of the campaign?"

3. GTA San Andres: me and my sister were playing the game together and we wandered into Redneck country and then we procceeded to break the game heres a few things that happened:

We jacked a rednecks car, before we could take off he jacks it back then runs us over. He backs up and runs us over again, and again, and again, and again. We have the infinite life cheat so we found it easier to reset the game then try to get up.

We entered co-op mode got on a boat in the middle of the ocean, and did the kiss command and one of our charcters got teleported to the bottom of the ocean, and could walk on the floor. We repeated it about three times with the same result.

We were in co-op mode in an airplane together when one of us jumped out, and the other didn't the falling person eventually hit the aired and died but their corpse floated following the airplane.

We jacked a random hillbillies car with the flying car cheat active. We were in a tunnel though so no fly zone. All of a sudden the hillbilliy who we took the car from come riding up behind us standing on the hood of a car thats chasing us. He shoots us three time one shot took out both our tires, the second made us smoke and the last shot caused us to catch fire and crash into the wall. They never slowed down our stopped after we crashed, they drove off We exploded.

When I won a match of lone wolves with swords on Halo 3 with a straight 16 kill spree. I started as the lowest scoring player in the match and at the very end, was blessed with supernatural power.

Playing Mount and Blade: Warband.
I have an army of 100 Sarranid Infantry, and we are against 150 Khergit scum. We charge into battle bravely, rushing over a hill. Left and right, the army fall to my men. As the battle comes to a close, I see Lezalit fall in the distance. I shout, "FOR THE SULTAN!!!" and run to avenge him. We only lost 5 men. I felt glorious.

Uncharted 2 is awesome for things like this.

Multiplayer > Plaza > Even 5-5 teams > middle of the match

Both teams control their own side of the map, and I'm in the center building taking the SAS shotgun spawn.

"What's that?!" I say, as I hear gunfire on the side of the building where the Grenade Launcher spawns.

I check the map, my team is on one side of the launcher, with the other team taking cover at the other side. I count 3 enemies there on the front lines.

I have the shotgun in hand, so I make my way to the OPPOSITE side of the center building, and take cover on the corner before I could have a clear shot on the enemy team, who was using their side of the building to put supressive fire on the Grenade Launcher spawn.

I wait. I wait. I wait. AND THEN I SEE MY OPENING, no one was looking at the area I came from, all focused on my team on the other side of the launcher spawn.

"GO, GO, GO!" I say, half-way to the group of 3 enemies!

I get up to the first one, none have noticed me, *BAM*, 1 shot shotgun kill, run to the next, still not being noticed, *BAM*, 2 down!

The last guy still has not seen me, focused on my teammates. I say "Screw the Shotgun!" and go up behind and give him a heaping helping of *STEALTH KILL*

The entire attack force, dead at my hand within 4 seconds. A triple kill along with a stealth kill. It was a good match.

Shambler.

As for me, end of Arcanum and Planescape: Torment, having gone with the "talk until everything is better again" option. Also Terranigma, when you go to the, uh... village near the end, just so we can dodge any spoilers here.

Other than that, mostly from tabletop games.

I remember in a Guadalcanal match in Battlefield 1943 I was in the side seat of a jeep when suddenly our driver is sniped. The vehicle goes spinning out of control and flips over in front of an enemy tank. Cue epic escape through a forest with a tank chasing me.

OOOOOO... Probably the time when a team of six marines, with me and a friend on it fought off and kept a tide of four predators and eight aliens on gateway for an hour, fighting up to 1000 kills. It, was a good day to die!

Really? Becuase in Blue I just pegged him once with a normal pokeball and he came with me no problem.
