Much as I like it, Resonance of Fate.

Got to a point where I had been playing for about half an hour and encountered the same random battle with the same enemies about 10 seconds after fighting one. This happened twice.

Now, I think grinding is still fun if the combat's interesting, which in RoF is kinda is (mileage may vary), but not if it's the same battle with the same setup, same enemies, same area, even standing in the same place.

That would be yesterday on World of Tanks. I was using artillery and my team was getting annihilated. I was already having a bad time using that particular tank, so when I saw three enemy tanks rolling towards where I was I just said fuck this shit and left. I also would count all those time where I left after getting killed, but I would have been sitting there doing fuck all otherwise so I don't count that as rage quitting.
I've gotten back into World of Tanks recently, which can't be healthy because it raises my blood pressure so much.

Point blank range shot on an enemy tank that literally fills the entire targeting screen with a 90% trained gunner?
Woops, haha, you missed and he killed you!

Enemy tank reduced to 6% health and all you need to do is land one round on him to score the kill?
Uh oh, looks like your gunner started huffing paint and you miss ten consecutive shots in a row only to be destroyed by the cripple you were trying to finish off!

Spend over eighty thousand credits on special APCR ammunition?
"We just dinged them!" "It bounced off!" "We didn't penetrate their armour!"

Trying to defend against an enemy push?
Your friendly tank destroyers ran away at the first shot and left you to be made the ***** of the enemy team's entire compliment of heavy tanks!

Just want to move to a new patch of cover at the beginning of the game?
Your tracks just got blown off by a random artillery shell and now you're being pecked to death by invisible enemies!

Fuck you World of Tanks, you infuriating broken mess of a game.

I stopped playing "Tales of Graces" after a particularly predictable storyline trope showed up. Usually, I can suspend my hatred for such things, so long as the rest of the experience flows naturally from it. However, I had been so tired of the trope from all the anime I'd recently watched, I just turned off the game. I haven't played it in nearly 3 months...

Also, I refuse to play certain fighting games with my friends, for the sakes of our friendships. Whether the advantage is mine (for certain titles) or my friends' (for other titles), it's no fun just going into a match and experiencing a lopsided match for an hour. I much prefer a close competition.

Though not really a rage quit, one of my most heated moments was when I finally beat that old man with the machine gun in Final Fight (the first one). Hearing a kid do Rick Flair's "Woooo!" followed by curses and "that's right, die old man" would have been amusing to see (had anyone been present).

Got Mortal Kombat Komplete on sale, loved every second of the campaign up until Shao Khan. After about 4 hours of attempts, I quit and uninstalled.

DotA 2 last night, not so much while playing. Was playing ranked captains draft where the captain picked 4 hard carries first, then picked me Skywrath Mage for support. I was already ill from some bad chicken i ate a few hours earlier. My Lane partner Spectre ragequits a few minutes in, so I wait around a few minutes moving back and forth as to not get put into low priority, then go to the bathroom for 30 minutes of agony only to come back and find I have 5 games of low priority when i got back. Don't think i'll play that game anymore.

Lollipop Chainsaw. The game just KEPT. FUCKING. CRASHING.

It was bullshit. Here I'm trying to do the extra content and the game just kept freezing for no reason whatsoever.

Battlefield 4. The game kept crashing and glitching out. I had to restart my 360 three or four times on different maps, kept spawning in without a weapon, or with a weapon but unable to aim or fire. Then got into one game and the graphics were glitching out something fierce. Every time they "fix" that game, it comes back worse and worse. :(

Not a rage quit, but last night playing Civ Revolution, I lost several fights in a row despite a 2-1 advantage, the last with a group of riflemen taking out an elite tank army. I went on pretty full tilt and had to walk around the apartment for a bit. Stupid Russians!

SiN did this to me roughly one and a half hour ago, got cornered, quick-saved in a relatively safe spot. Wanted to load said savegame and it got corrupted. Console gave me an error which basicly boils down to trying to spawn the playable character in a place where it isn't allowed to. Still have my autosave luckily but it's stil a pain in the ass. Since the quick-save was right after a pretty annoying part.

I mostly feel your pain. I say mostly because they have yet to introduce crew training to the Xbox version and I usually don't bother with premium round, but I definitely feel you on that last one. The last two days have been decent, but anytime before then I was getting my tracks blown off at least once for 13/15 matches. It almost never failed that the exact instant I tried to GTFO or even just duck behind cover my tracks would get nailed. What usually made it worse is when I was using my tank destroyers

Yesterday I ragequitted Dota 2. I just started to play it a little bit so I have at least some MOBA experience when Heroes of the Storm comes out. I know this game will be different, but still, I was curious since one of my friends plays it too. I thought I would ragequit this game because a teammate would trash talk since I'm newbie, but no, it was because a hero of the opponent team (Viper) was immune against any damage - be it from me, my teammates or the well that attacks you if you go to the enemy spawn point. It was very frustrating since he insulted us the whole time. Reportet that scum and ragequitted. I don't know whether it was a bug or a hack...

Monsters vs. Aliens. The difficulty just ramped up to insane levels. This is supposed to be a freakin' kids game - why can a grown man not do it?

Last night, Dark Souls 1, Ornstein & Smough, all of my rage. Like someone said on the first page, there are some bugs with the game, clipping issues that make it really frustrating given the difficulty of the game. I could summon some help or at least Solaire but that's how I beat them on the first playthrough a few months ago, this time I decided to do everything alone and the game didn't feel all that difficult right till this point. Plus this fight is the only one that remains to be done to progress in the game.

So if they don't have crew training on the console version, is everyone's tank supposed to be generally equal in accuracy stats and the such?

But fuck being immobilized in one shot, fuck it with a knobbly iron stick. I also just found out something even worse than that in an earlier game today: a lucky artillery shot killed my driver, gunner and loader - aka the most important crewmembers in this stupid game - and knocked me down to less than one quarter health IN THE FIRST FUCKING MINUTE OF THE MATCH!

Deathclaws in Fallout generally convince me to stop playing for awhile. I most play stealthy, light armor assassins, so if I'm careless and a deathclaw sees me, I'm generally screwed. Usually I can get the upper hand with the right choice of ammo and a sniper shot from stealth, but if I miss I typically panic and die in a couple hits.

I have no idea when the last time I rage quit was, if ever. Last time I got really mad at a game was Sazh's eidolon fight in Final Fantasy XIII a month or so ago.

Minecraft. Hadn't died the whole game, so I was high level and had a couple of diamond tools with great enchantments on them. I was just exploring around, having found some extra diamonds (I had 8, due to the fortune enchantment on my pickaxe) and making my way back to the surface when I came across a small stream of lava. Here I was, preparing my cobblestone to make a bridge when I get shot by an arrow and dumped into the lava. "Ok, this looks bad, but I can manage", I thought. Except that skeleton manage to push me back every time I got out of the lava. Result, I died in the lava, lost all my gear, including plenty of diamonds, iron, gold and obsidian, and I just lost any will to continue with this game.

The last two days I've gone back to trying to enjoy PSASBR. I'm over Crash and Spyro. And still no Jehuty or Lara Croft.

But fffFFFUCK man. Juggling is frustrating, it's usually a huge clusterfuck and I lose track of where I am and who I am. I always seem slower than everyone else despite having a great connection. Apparently they nerfed Sly's 1st stage super because Murry won't kill two opponents even if they're inside each other. Every time I go to attack someone they have instant priority over any move I try and catch me in a loop. And my player color changes so much I start watching the wrong character, was it too much to ask for a static color for client-side? Not to mention when I do get a combo off everyone else already has at least stage one stocks, and I've got half of one, fifteen seconds in.

But at least every time I see the loading screen with me and three 999's I get to do the Christian Bale "Oh GOOOD, for me" thing, which makes it slightly bearable.

World of Tanks.

I just don't like how the game straight-up lies to you about...well...pretty much everything.

"White Crosshair = no target. Yellow Crosshair = 0% chance of dealing damage. Orange Crosshair = 50% chance of dealing damage. Red Crosshair = 100% chance of dealing damage." Then explain to me how I can shoot six times in a row with red and have the douchebag tell me each time "It bounced right off, surrr. It bounced right off, surrr."

"Park at an angle so it increases the effectiveness of your armor!" Yeah, that's a load of horseshit as well.

Then there's the time you just get blasted out of nowhere without a "You've been detected warning."

And you've gotta love the times when you get one-shotted from the front yet it still manages to blow up your engine, cause a fire, and kill you within 2 seconds.

Beyond all that, you finally grind your way up to the upper levels, for me that meant I finally got a Panther. You remember all the times you nearly shat yourself while checking the roster at the beginning of the map and seeing a bunch of level 6s and 7s at the top of the list. So finally, YOU get to be the big dog! Nope, we'll go ahead and just bump you up with the 8's, 9's, and 10's. Have fun staying at the bottom of the list, asshole!

And in general it just seemed that every tank I drove could get the tracks knocked out in one shot, while I could fire 5 times at someone's track and they just keep on driving.

So yeah, I got my panther, played a few more games, then you realize that your tank is so expensive that if you don't have a good to excellent game you're not going to be making money, and if you die you'll actually lose a couple thousand. At that point it was time to retire from World of Tanks, haven't played it for a few weeks now.

Europa Universails 4, and the god damned cheating computer. I love the game and the strategy in it, I love how you can't just brute force your way to world supremacy and no matter how big and powerful you are you are always in need of more manpower and your nation always has people that want to rebel.

But my most recent rage quit was because I was England and had managed to take the entire UK islands and was planning to take France with a coalition of other nations but even though I outnumbered them by a lot and had generals commanding my troops the French still kicked my ass. It wasn't even close, and there's only so many times you can suffer a total rout before you start to think the game just wants to screw you over.
Civilization Revolution is the same. So my Army of legion veteran units let by a general was taking out by 3 archers? I'm so close to actually burning the disc. I can't fucking win a single game in that since I conquered as a few nations.
Yeah, Civ Rev can be pretty damn infuriating. I get it, some units are better for attacking, others are better for defending. But I can't tell you how many times I've invaded a city where I'd have vastly superior attack to their defense (I'm talking 27 to frickin' 9 in the worst case that I can remember) and just got utterly defeated. Like astonishingly defeated. Like "I wish I didn't download this game just so I could actually break the disc" defeated.

That and the bullshit that the computer pulls is just ridiculous some times. "Yeah, let me move four submarines into your ocean territory just to prevent you from getting resources and then immediately offer unconditional peace because you're on Democracy and have to accept it. Want to get rid of my subs? Yeah, they'll move out next turn...then I'll declare war on you again just to start the process all over again."
