She was no worse than the butterface that replaced her for TF3.Phoenix_XIII said:I brought this up after seeing "Transformers 3." That's why I'm only mentioning her.
Still never seems to help. Music can only improve so much....Vimto said:You can always watch with the sound off, have some nice music instead.
I prefer the new girl. No idea why. Maybe because she's not a walking stick figure that has the attitude of a miffed walrus.Jerram Fahey said:She was no worse than the butterface that replaced her for TF3.Phoenix_XIII said:I brought this up after seeing "Transformers 3." Pretty cool? There's nothing cool about fucking MEGATRON - a total badass - feeling emasculated because some bimbo from an alien species he only seeks to destroy and has absolutely nothing invested in their opinions tells him what a little girl he is? Really? If it was Starscream or someone... actually, Starscream wouldn't. If it was Soundwave it would have made sense, but do you really care what some ant has to say about your actions?Phoenix_XIII said:I thought it was pretty cool. Someone convincing you to save your mortal enemy. Then again he could've waited until Sentinel killed Prime and then kill Sentinel and then have nothing in his way....
But then Bumble Bee could Bust in and kill Megatron because Bumble Bee is so epic.
Megatron has always had his pride and it affects his actions. He wants to be top dog. And also Sentinel treated him like shit so it would've been a pretty good time to get some revenge.Jerram Fahey said:Pretty cool? She can in no way at all act. She would've gotten fired from video porn probably.ImprovizoR said:She would have done the world a favor if she became a porn star instead. She can't act.
While shes not exactly oscar worthy her character was probably the most enjoyable human one in Transformers 2. At least she had a "thing". She was a mech-girl, and I was actually pleasantly surprised when she overpowered and threatened that mini-decepticon. A girl who can defend herself, at least a bit.Phoenix_XIII said:NOTE: This is your opinion on her acting ability, not anything else.
....
Okay. You can comment on her personality and lack of respect towards people too.
OT: She can't act. She was kind of just "there" in the first two Michael Bay "Transformers" movies and from what I've seen in "Jennifer's Body", she can't act for shit and was only there for her body.
She also lacks respect and when Steven Spielberg has to tell you to fire someone, you listen and hopefully make sure the person in question never works again since they got fired for being a complete asshole. But she's in that movie "Passion Play" so obviously "someone" doesn't care about Spielberg's opinion.
Your thoughts?
Because she "ruined" the reboot/live action remake of something nerdy.Fieldy409 said:why is everyone obsessed with megan fox and yet dont mention the legion of other eye candy women who cant act in movies?
There's nothing wrong with Megatron getting a bit emo before taking a stand - it's a little out of character, but hey, which character DIDN'T Bay butcher? But Megatron is a guy that has ZERO interest in humans. He's here to rape the planet and rebuild Cybertron, and humans are nothing but mud he has to wipe from his boot. They're an annoyance, and if it weren't for the Autobots he wouldn't even acknowledge them. They're insects. For him to give up and be emo is not like Megatron, but it's passable. He's no one's *****... except maybe Unicron's. Then some ant crawls up his leg and tells him how much of a little ***** he is... and for some reason he takes it to heart, rather than squishing her to gain the small-though-unsatisfactory joy of at least having SOME power - the thing he craves most. It was a terribly written scene amidst an ocean of equally terribly written scenes that make up Michael Bay's Transformers trilogy.Phoenix_XIII said:Megatron has always had his pride and it affects his actions. He was getting his ass handed to him in the third act of the film so being told by a tiny little thing he wanted to enslave that he's a whiny little ***** is a pretty good motivation to prove his worth to himself. He waqs trying to fix his damaged pride. Would've helped to kill Starscream earlier in the whole Transformers canon but hey, whatever. I'm in no position to tell Megatron what to do unless he gets his ass kicked and pride damaged.Jerram Fahey said:There's nothing wrong with Megatron getting a bit emo before taking a stand - it's a little out of character, but hey, which character DIDN'T Bay butcher? If she had been cast once more, I'm pretty sure she would've intentionally done horrible. She did, in fact, call Bay a Napoleonic Hitler with no social skills.tzimize said:While shes not exactly oscar worthy her character was probably the most enjoyable human one in Transformers 2. She is obviously just eye-candy but her character was at least a character...
I havent seen Jennifers body, nor will I. It takes more than a decent looking girl to make me want to watch a movie
Transformers 3 (one of the worst movies I've seen in my life) had a female love interest that was so stupid and shallow the mind BOGGLES. I can NOT understand how ANYONE can enjoy watching something like that, and I hope the ones making the decisions about how to make movies in such a way dies in a fire. Her character was so stupid I cried tears of blood, and when she suddenly went all reverse-psychology on Megatron towards the end I groaned both inside and out.
God damnit I hate Transformers 3. I have a pretty high tolerance for cheese and stupid fluff in my popcorn movies, I even enjoyed Transformers 2 if we cut away the "homie-bots"...but Transformers 3....just made me want to dig out my eyes with a spoon. I actually believe the movie would be better if Miss Fox had still been cast.
He didn't want to enslave... wait you're right - the movie ruined that too. Even so, the notion of Megatron being inspired by something a human said is absurd. That's like (Godwin's law approaching fulfillment) Hitler being inspired by a Jew.Phoenix_XIII said:He was getting his ass handed to him in the third act of the film so being told by a tiny little thing he wanted to enslave that he's a whiny little ***** is a pretty good motivation to prove his worth to himself.
But that's the case with so many actors. I feel Jack Black is awful but he keeps getting movies, same with Will Ferrell. I'm not trying to defend Megan Fox here (though I really don't find her to be THAT bad, sure she lacks acting ability, but really there are worse actors/actresses.) I just think that this particular statement covers the base for a lot of actors/actresses.Phoenix_XIII said:Why is her acting ability irrelevant? She's in at least three more movies to be released next year and we have to deal with more crap.smithy_2045 said:Her acting ability is irrelevant.
True, but it's kind of entertaining seeing Megatron take shit from a human. XDDDDJerram Fahey said:He didn't want to enslave... wait you're right - the movie ruined that too.
