I found it more emotionally profound than some of the big Oscar-baity dramas that normally release. It's a very sad and touching episode that used it's well-done humor to make all of those happy moments with Seymour that much more sad in retrospect when you eventually see the big shocker in the end. The humor mixed with the melancholy factor creates juxtaposition thus making it more emotionally resound than Precious, which is basically just beating you over the head with misery after misery.
tl;dr (For some reason...?) WAAAAAAAAAAHHH! SEYMMMOOOOOUUUUURRRR!!! *Cries in the corner like a little girl*
