What I hate : n00btubers.

What I like : Getting organised and wiping the floor with a group of retarded n00btubers.

If there's one thing that's funny in MW2, it's rounding a corner and coming face to face with someone aremed with a thumper/grenade launcher attachment, who then proceeds to try to kills you with it. Cue hilarity as the projectile wizzes straight past you, blowing up harmlessly on a wall far behind you. At that point, you're less then a metre away from them, and have an AA12 in your hands...

Because any game where you have to level up to get weapons....you cant just have the ak47 instantly or the p90 whenever ya want it.

Already has been posted many times and in must greater detail so in short what I hate about MW2 is the completely gimped PC version. I was looking forward to getting it until that happened. I am a proud member of that boycott to this day and don't care who knows it. More people need to talk to Activision with the only language they understand cash.

I had a lot of fun with the Campaign but, the multiplayer is pretty horrible filled with douche-bags and cheaters with a map pack of 4 coasting $15 (never payed for any of that crap)...

First of all, despite it's flaws i do like the game, that beeing said here whats wrong with it.

Retards whining about every otehr thing you do beeing a n00b tactic/overpovered BOO HOO, stop using tubes/knifes/snipers/painkilelrs/air support/grenades/camping/rushing/heartbeat sensors (which often translates to "wallhacking retard") marathon/coldblooded/akimbo shotguns/akimbo glocks/etc/etc/etc
But i guess that for for every game where someone gets owned, there'll always be a shitload of retards who can blame everything but their own poor skills.

N00bs who joins objective based games and then gives a shit about it, cause they need to farm XP (like campin your own spawn when you're supposed to plant a bomb in demolition)
This is the same in otehr objective based games though, worse in BFBC2 when you're atatcking in rush and 3/4 of your team is camping with snipers.

I miss the good old days where map-packs was free, and only major additions would cost you
money, but thats not COD, thats gameing today, with only a few exceptions...

Otherwise i like the game, it has shitloads of game-modes, i love the unlock system and costumizable classes which is a big improvement from cod4's already great system, and it has enough stuff for new players to play with that is still perfectly good, so it's not like a player with low rank will automaticly loose to higehr ranked players, it's still player skills that wins the game, but playtime just unlocks more play-styles so to speak.

So basicly IW-net is my only major pain in the ass, if it had a decent system instead of that shitpile it would truly be a great game IMO.

My problem is there's no teamwork. That sounds insane but compare it to other games where you can have a medic, or you can give ammo, or you can sabotage a gun.

MW2 is you step out and die, or someone JUMPS around with dual shotguns.

Its nothing it advetizes itself as, it's not really a team shooter, it's not really a military shooter. The only tactics are noobtoob and morons jumping around or bunny hopping, whatever you want to call it.

I hate to compare but put it against Bad Company 2 where you can revive a teamate, give him ammo, callout where an enemy is, repair vehicles, etc what does MW2 hold out in terms of teamwork? Besides getting blown up as a team with a single noobtoob.

The god damned kil streaks, sure it's fun when you're using them, but when the enemy gets an ac130, a chopper gunner and a harrier all at the same time, I start to rage.

No dedicated servers. The reason being that many people from around the world will have to play games outside their country and experience a poor connection/serious lag - which makes the game unfair and not fun at all.

Besides, dedicated servers would have given me the chance to become a regular on a particular server and hopefully add some people to my steam friends list and play with them regularly.

I can say for a fact I'm quite good at CoD, and I still have the same problems as he does.

Except I play on the PC so I'll add in no dedicated servers and the shitty responses and excuses for why they totally boned PC gamers.

When MW2 came out i was hugely addicted to it. When i get a new game i play the campaign first, i enjoyed the campaign, not as much as CoD4 but i liked it. meanwhile all my friends are the kind of people who say "Screw campaign, its all about the multiplayer." so they were all higher ranks than me, eventually i caught up and play non stop. i then got back into WoW and put MW2 down for a bit, but now that i quit WoW i started playing MW2 again. I now can't understand why i used to be hooked on MW2, its not that much fun online, deffenitly not worth more money on maps. I agree with alot of the other posters about the annoying people online, but i ussually mute everyone right off the bat. I think what i hate most are the campers or grudge players, that and the spammers about 10th prestige lobbys.

If the wall of text was too much, i suppose im more into the story of a game rather than the multiplayer. If CoD had a rush type mode like in BF:BC2 then i might have been a lot better.
