I have just had a fantastic weekend and it left me in a mood to gloat, tell people and also to hear the stories of others.

Erm.. Got talking to a girl, essentially friend-zoned myself so I wouldn't hurt myself over feelings of unrequited love, had my friends telling me that she liked me but ignored them. Then she confessed her feelings, and we dated for two years.

OT: I... have none. Not yet, anyway. However, there are two(!) girls who are kind of into me. One asked me out before I got the chance to, and tomorrow I'm going to see if I can make a date with the other.

Give me a month, and we'll see which one (if either) plays out. But I gotta say, I'm not looking forward to having to pick between them. I'll have to let both of them know right up front.

I started watching his internet show about books and found out he was a librarian. We started talking about crappy vampire books and pretty much took over a thread in the forum we were hanging out on. So we took it to Google-chat and quickly became BFFs. He helped me with my library student work (because he's got a master's degree and has worked in that environment awhile) and I helped him with material for his show. I got attached to him and stumbled through telling him on Valentine's, because I'm so used to rejection, but was so fond of him. He was all, "Thank god you said it, I've been trying to figure out how to say it for days!"

So we've been building up a relationship ever since. I visit him every other month or two months (he lives in Canada, I live in the southeastern States) for about two or three weeks at a time. (I'm a full-time student taking online courses. I can get away with it.) We love each other a little more every day~ I'm also working on getting a student work permit under a special program so's I can stay up there for several months at a stretch and bring some money in to the house.
