Actually, whenever i feel sad, i listen to Psychostick - Prozak Milkshake. It's an emo song making fun of every other emo song, and it cheers me up and reminds me to stop bitching baout my life.

Country music. Nothing better to cheer you up than listening to some Jimmy Rodgers.

...or should that be 'send you into a spiral of depression'? Oh well...

Most things by Evanescence.
If you're dumb enough to think that's an actual song then you probably haven't found this either, but oh well, it's not a real song... DUR!
someone thought evanescence was a song?
No, the "Most things" bit.

Unless she's been lying for a while, I'm pretty sure Ula's female.
Also, I'm willing to bet that 75% of people looking at your post missed the white text.
<color=white>Just like this text. Hey stupid people, pay more attention.

Tiny Tim! His happy, upbeat songs make me feel more depressed. How can a dead guy be happier than me?

Shouldn't that be 'AliceBlue' text? They've changed the colourscheme.

Easy- How to save a life, the Fray
Nice one. That plus Oasis - Morning Glory, and most songs from As I Lay Dying, strange huh?
I also like 'May it be' by Enya and 'Into the West' by Annie Lennox(LotR soundtrack)

What do you listen to when you feel a bit down or depressed? I listen to some calm stuff, like Depeche Mode or Muse.

muse isnt quite the calmist music :p
but i listen to city and colour
Depends on what album and what songs. As in calm I mean not high energetic, bu soothing. And that's a niche that Muse fills pretty good.

when i want to wallow in the sadness it's mazzy star and portishead. when i don't want to wallow in the sadness it's the aquabats, reel big fish, less than jake, rocket from the crypt, op ivy, rancid, dropkick murphys, really anything that makes me wanna jump around like a huge weirdo :)

Usually either something very slow and soft or happy and up-beat. Favourites:
Creep- Radiohead
One- Metallica
Let Down- Toots and The Maytals (Cover of Radiohead)

For wallowing, Pink Floyd and Radiohead.
For perking up, David Bowie and Rage Against The Machine.

EDIT: Now I'd REALLY like to hear a mash up of Bowie and RATM. That could be great!
