Do you use overpowered staffs? 100% chameleon? Overly high stealth skills? Reverse pickpocketing spammage? Myself its a mixture of staffs and chameleon, depending on how i'm feeling. What did you use when you played the game?

100% spell absorption, amber long sword, and ridiculously powerful poison. Combined with magic spam of course.

I stopped playing my first file save in Oblivion because my character was extremely weak for a lv 22 Mage, but what I did to quickly level up soem skills was to constantly jump when my fatigue was full to raise Acrobatics, spam the Heal Minor Wounds, Captivate, and Minor Detect Life to quickly level up my Restoration, Illusion, and Mysticism skills to Master.

100% Chameleon, done the necromancer's way: The Ring of Khajiiti from the Daedric Shrine quest (35%), then three filled Black Soul Gems at my enchanting altar in the Wizard's Tower (worth 25% each thanks to the mods I use) to make a Chameleon suit.

Edit: Of note, I don't just use player.setAV Chameleon 100. I make my character earn his cheesy chops before playing the game that way.

110% chameleon armor. Infinite expoding fire arrows, paralyzing bow. Bandits would run in fear if they knew what I looked like.

Yes. Cheating is a dick move. 100% chameleon using grand soul gems is a legitimate strategy. And its fun to punch guards in the face. Kindof breaks the game though.

So what? When sneaking around hordes of Reavers in Oblivion gates (using Martigen's Monster Mod), it's a pulse-pounding nonstop thrill ride and woe betide the poor sucker who gets spotted, but once you go back into hell with a 100% Chameleon suit and pile them up like cordwood, it's a thousand times more satisfying.

Overpowered stealth. And I play on the 360, so beyond duping I don't really have to much to cheat with. Oh, and from time to time I'll use some ungodly overpowered enchanted weapon that quite possibly could kill a guard on max difficulty instantly, but I haven't tried that yet. (kinda doubt that it would work though...)

I was just a money fiend. I stole and sold every single thing, in turn I had the money to buy the best gear and potions, making me pretty invincible.
*Shrug*
It's a boring approach, but it worked.

Actually, due to a hilarious mishap, my armor has 102% chameleon.

I don't quite understand what the extra 2% does, but I'll take it.

Just for kicks, I pimped out all my gear with speed boosts (plus more powerful quest items). My athletics was already at 100, so I could just run through hordes of enemies. T'was fun when I beat Shivering Isles by just running behind Jyggalag and punching him in the arse over and over again. Plus, it meant I never had to play Mirror's Edge because freerunning in Oblivion was more fun.

And there was plenty of hilarity when I buffed my character up with speed potions and spells and threw myself off of high peaks in the game (or just into the infinity beyond castle walls). Xbox 360 version though so no video.

Full-power Finger of the Mountain. It literally one-shots anything in a 100-foot radius in anything but the highest difficulty. I don't recommend using it in cities, though. I wound up cleaning out Cheydinhal with it by accident.

It's not Oblivion, but I have done that on a different game.

In the PS2 version of Force unleashed, it is possible to run and cast constant lightning at the same time, unlike the 360 and PS3 versions. So, I liked to turn on infinite life and Force energy, then run through levels just holding down the lightning button until everything was dead. I double clicked it for times I wanted to see him do the 'I am awesome' double lightning thing.
