I am sorry. I imagine my serial killers to be a little more subtle/sophisticated/methodical than that(berserkers never get away with it). I would more imagine this

[SwinnyTodd] I hear the best place to hide is in plain sight. Also the killer can only see movement. So, you should lie motionless in your driveway. Don't move, even if it looks like he is going to step on you with his very sharp cleats. If you move, he will see you, and you will die.

i would find a group of people and get them to a " safe house" where we would all, having brought along food and movies, games and other stuff, try ro sit it out like the cowards we all deep down know we are, until it goes away.

Step 2. Kill "Indestructable" villain
Step 3. Instead of running away like in every film ever, and letting the killer slowly "heal", stand up and catch up, instead simply stand there with a pointy stick and everytime he twitches jab him in the eye with it
Step 4. Call Police and wait for them to shackle him

Success!

Seriously, if there's one thing that annoys me about alot of "Horror" films is that when they finally manage to incapacitate the killer, who they often know is bloody resilient, they run off for a bit and sit down to have a breather.

Why? If the guy can be KO'd for even a short amount of time, keep doing the same thing to them until more people turn up. Win-Win!
