Carelessness towards my teeth in my youth has rendered them shark-like, making no meal a challenge to me.

Leather-like beef? Rarghragh! A spoon? Nom, nom, nom.

I brush every day, sometimes twice. Usually it's before bed; I never got on board with the whole "brush after every meal" thing, even when I had braces. Flossing is a horse of a different color, though. Or a PONY [http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Ml59PlBGnC0/RrtYgbOpAoI/AAAAAAAABT8/bDYIvnx3dTA/s400/psyhorse.jpg] of a different color!

Pony's now theyz have loverly teefs!
Ponies usually do, considering their diet consists entirely of rainbows.

My teeth are pretty nice, I had braces and I brush and floss every day (multiple times, really), so they're about as good as they can be. I didn't brush very well as a child though, so that left them a bit discolored, but they're still pretty nice.

I plan on letting them all fall out then getting robo-dentures, which I'm sure will be invented soon.

I have weak enamel, my one cosmetic flaw. My teefs are lookin' a little ragged for my age...

At least they're wonderfully straight.

I brush twice a day, almost never floss, use mouthwash about once every 3 months.

It's pretty easy cleaning my teeth - I mean, they stick out far enough.

I brush after breakfast and dinner, and that's about it. Although, I just had my wisdom teeth out on Thursday (see my Youtube videos of me, while still high off of anesthesia on my profile page :p), so I've been taking extra special care of them lately.

Me, I don't really take care of my teeth as I should - it's kind of a pain in the ass. I'll brush and floss them maybe every 2 or 3 days. And I can't afford to go to the dentist since I've been out of school. I'm kind of worried about losing them...
That about describes my situation, too. Hell, I've had a cavity in my left molar for over 4 year now. I've been wanting that tooth to fall out forever, but it's stuck fast.

Teeth are weird... why did they evolve the way they did, so that without maintenance they decay and fall out? It's not like your fingernails fall out if you don't clean them every day... they just seem like such an evolutionary liability to me.

Wouldn't it be sweet if we were like sharks, and we just constantly grew new teeth?

I lost a good portion of my teeth to a trampoline accident when I was 10 (9 years ago). I am keeping my gums in check, though.

I brush as often as I remember too, but sometimes I don't remember to. >_>

My teeth are okay, but they could be better. Also they are very crooked, I have fcked up teeth.

I have two teeth growing BEHIND my two front teeth, both of them are bent in strange angles. I also have a vampire tooth on the BOTTOM of my gums in front of some other teeth, and thats at an angle too. The rest of my teeth are relatively normal, but not very white. I'm also worried about one of my back teeth because the top of it seems to have gone black. :s

Man you should read how the teeth of elephants work, it's crazy! I know this cause I was really bored at work one day and decided to read the wiki article on elephants.

To Wikipedia! :D

EDIT: Whoa, that is awesome - their teeth are replaced 5 times over their lives. The new ones grow in the back and push the old ones forward where they eventually fall out. And they would probably live a lot longer if they didn't die of starvation after their last teeth fall out. Craziness. Someone should try and preserve an elephant's teeth so it'll live to 500!

I brush once in the morning and once at night. I can never make myself floss, though.

To quote Mitch Hedberg: "When smokers tell me 'Man, you don't know how hard it is to stop smoking' I say "Yes I do. It's as hard as it is to start flossing.' 'Hey man you seem jittery and tense' 'Yeah, I'm about to floss.'"

Yeah! I like to think of it as conveyor belt teeth haha, new ones come in, push the old ones out!
I gained SO much more respect for elephants after that article!
