that bit in bioshock....where you go into the dentist area, a big white puff of smoke, you cant see anything. the smoke fades, you're looking at the desk you just looted....you turn around and there is a fucken splicer in a bloodied clown mask RIGHT there. i nearly crapped my pants.

AvP-games...
When walking as a marine trough the dark evironment, can't more than a meter, and then the ticking of the motiontracker is getting blips... ALIENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DAMN CAN'T WAIT FOR A NEW GAME OF THAT UNIVERSE...
I know! Don't forget when the air ventilation covers are being broken apart from the other side and you KNOW what's behind it. The sheer fact of knowing what's going to happen and not what may happen scared the shit out of me, or that the blips were moving closer towards me, and getting faster!
oooo i remember a moment..in either avp1 or 2..where all these blips were getting closer and closer and closer and the lights go out.....nothing there...walk along..blip BLIPBLIP behind you. dead. destroyed my pants again

RROD Is always a fear for me.

BSOD always happens on my shittastic computer, but it happens at the times where I'm typeing something importent to my buddies on a game....or when I have that rush.

Also in Team Fortress 2, anyone who plays as a spy knows why I fear those...damn...pyros...
and if you know that, you also know the feeling of running into someone as a disquised spy.
Ugh...worst feeling ever.

I'm pretty sure there's no chance of getting our money back. Especially if they are going out of business, and suddenly they have to pay back every dollar they have ever earned. I'm pretty sure that what would happen is they would just say that everyone should back up there games if they want to hold onto it. So technically, you could save it. Then again...I own 107 games on Steam. Backing up all of that would be downright insane.

Yeah, I have quite a few games on steam as well. I can't imagine losing over 200 dollars worth of games from Steam.

For me it is water areas in some games. It all started way back when I played Banjo-Kazooie on the N64 and when I reached the Treasure Trove Cove level and jumped off the dock into the water and all I hear is "dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun" and a FRIGGIN SHARK appears out of nowhere and tries to eat me. I can do water levels now-a-days but I have never truly recovered.
I will murder you for reminding me of that horrific experience.... *starts crying*

Anywoo, I'll say Heart of Darkness... Yeah....

I share the fear of water, especially in first person. Slaughterfish and dreughs lurking just past your visual range...

Even worse was playing Freelancer, and having to fly into nebulae and dust clouds to loot the good equipment. I just knew that any moment, that lightning would flash and reveal Azathoth or something equally brain-breaking.

I'm suprised nobody has mentioned the "oh shit" moment on Team Fortress 2 when you're back peddaling and something stops you from going any further.
