oooo i remember a moment..in either avp1 or 2..where all these blips were getting closer and closer and closer and the lights go out.....nothing there...walk along..blip BLIPBLIP behind you. dead. destroyed my pants againmentor07825 said:I know! Don't forget when the air ventilation covers are being broken apart from the other side and you KNOW what's behind it. The sheer fact of knowing what's going to happen and not what may happen scared the shit out of me, or that the blips were moving closer towards me, and getting faster!Lamnidae said:AvP-games...
When walking as a marine trough the dark evironment, can't more than a meter, and then the ticking of the motiontracker is getting blips... ALIENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DAMN CAN'T WAIT FOR A NEW GAME OF THAT UNIVERSE...
Seconded. I am still haunted by the drowning music.Hutchy_Bear said:Water levels in Sonic. That music scared the crap out of me.
jesus. what happens if that ever does happen? do the consumers at least get our good money back?Xanadu84 said:Valve going out of business, and me losing my Steam account. My god...I can't even imagine.
I'm pretty sure there's no chance of getting our money back. Especially if they are going out of business, and suddenly they have to pay back every dollar they have ever earned. I'm pretty sure that what would happen is they would just say that everyone should back up there games if they want to hold onto it. So technically, you could save it. Then again...I own 107 games on Steam. Backing up all of that would be downright insane.devildog1170 said:jesus. what happens if that ever does happen? do the consumers at least get our good money back?Xanadu84 said:Valve going out of business, and me losing my Steam account. Yeah, I have quite a few games on steam as well. I can't imagine losing over 200 dollars worth of games from Steam.Xanadu84 said:I'm pretty sure there's no chance of getting our money back. I will murder you for reminding me of that horrific experience.... *starts crying*Darkrain11 said:For me it is water areas in some games. It all started way back when I played Banjo-Kazooie on the N64 and when I reached the Treasure Trove Cove level and jumped off the dock into the water and all I hear is "dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun" and a FRIGGIN SHARK appears out of nowhere and tries to eat me. I can do water levels now-a-days but I have never truly recovered.
This statement seems like it should rip a hole in spacetime. Or possibly just make an android's head explode.CompanionCube said:Luckily I don't have Half-Life 2
