Gonna jump on the Saint's Row 2 band wagon, nothing quite like eliminating wave after wave of gang banger and police forces, especially once they send in the gun ships and you shoot them down, you can see their pixelated hope die lol

Force Unleashed is another excellent one, it's fun to know that no matter how many stormtroopers and how much armor they send at me, they have no hope of defeating me, especially after throwing a star destroyer in to a planet

Also killing satan in Dante's Inferno, it's satan and you just curb checked him in hand to hand combat.

Finally when I need to be an RTS bad ass I grab the Space Marines of Dawn of War and go kill stuff.

Unreal. Effing. Tournament. III. Pass me that Sniper Rifle and let me rack up the headshots.

Killing guards in Assasin's Creed 2, probably. I still get a kick out of Nazi Zombies (original map only though), so that too, especially when listening to some thrash metal or something.
You mean like Anthrax? hehe I've been a fan of them since I was 6 years old or something...your user name is one of the best I seen as well
Cheers! I've had this avatar since November and you're the first person to get it. Favourite band ever!

Perfect Dark.

Load up the Combat Simulator, fill it with as many sims as possible, get me my duel CMP-130s and duel Falcon 2s and I'll have at it.

And if you really want to own, make them all MeatHeadSims.

Firefight in Halo Reach, with infinite equipment usage, bottomless clips, active camo, and 300% weapon damage. Use a jetpack and your weapons of choice (my favorites are the Rocket Launcher, Focus Rifle, and Needler) to utterly destroy thousands upon thousands of Covenant. I can't even explain how amazingly cathartic it feels, just try it yourselves!

For me I'd have to say Grand Theft Auto IV. Driving around Liberty City with an smg pointed out the window pulling off wacky stunts and trampling peds is always a blast.

Another choice filled with badass-ery would be Mass Effect 2 while being a renegade.

Pretty much anything made by Epic Games is a no-brainer as well. Bulletstorm demo tomorrow will hopefully deliver all my butthole blasting, vicious plant feeding, lazer whipping needs for the next week or so before launch.

Fallout 3/New Vegas.

I just assassinated Caesar with nothing but Boone and ED-E. That was only one instance of feeling like a bad ass.
I enjoyed that as well. I just stormed the fort with all guns blazing and wiped them all out. The only problem I had was when I went into Caesars tent and they all had super-awesome-badass exploding gloves but I still managed to beat them.

Easy.

P.S
Oh, but Saints Row 2 as a hispanic female also does the trick. Her rendition of "Take On Me" is easily the best.

Borderlands. I stick it on and either start up a new game or go for the old save game. Character: Brick.

Think it through:

Start up and after shooting a few bandits and skag pups, you reach level 5. You can now use Brick's special ability: Punching the utter shit out of anything that moves and tries to kill you. Hit the button and there I am, a first person view with two fists, smacking the internal organs out of the entire residents of Skag Valley all the time listening to the Roid-Rage-ish screams of my character as he enjoys himself so immensly in burying his fists as deep as possible into enemy flesh.

So aye, Brick = Badass experience.

Definitely Prototype. Graphics arn't special, game-play is competent but nothing amazing, and the story is forgettable, but you can body slam a helicopter into a tank, eat everyone inside, and then jam spikes through everyone on the block while buildings explode around you. Everything about this games sacrifices everything it can in favor of sheer, unbridled catharsis.
I hadn't played Prototype when I started this thread, but I have now and... good god... I can see why it was mentioned so often. It really is something else. Sure it's basically one mission over and over again, and that mission is You vs Everything, but it's an incredible adrenaline rush, and quite honestly I was blown away by the sheer scale of the devastation that's unleashed.

So much fun I'm actually planning on replaying on Hard, and I almost never do that.

Surprisingly for me, it's a driving game. Need for Speed: HP
Driving at over 100mph while a car explodes behind you and Bad Religion plays in the background makes me feel epic.

FPS, pissing off people by killing them alot derages me, even though 50% of the times it rages me even more if I get killed alot myself.
