nope because humans can defend themselves. I read about some chinese fur farms that find and catch stray cats and dogs hang the up in the back legs or tails and skin them alive and afterwards just throw the living animal, skinned, in a pile. that requires a much bigger punishment than say just shooting someone in the head.. but you do have a point. ill probally make it legal to kill someone if they have killed one or more of your family members in anyway you want to. but if you abuse this law you will be sent to work camps. that seems fair..

The reality shows based on jobs (excluding Dirty Jobs) will be combined by job into "winner keeps their business" tournaments, with the competitions consisting of whatever random activity I feel like watching at the time.

To keep chances of a revolution down, free internet and baked goods to all.

TV channels will stay within 90% of what the channel describes it self as.
Corollary: Disney will bring back Power Rangers.

and the last thing I can think of, The (genre) Movie movies will be destroyed, and anyone who thinks these are good will go through mandatory brain swaps with various rocks.

What about all the churches etc. out there that have leaders or whatever with day jobs, you know, for the 6 days a week they aren't talking to people in a congregation? That sort of organisation shouldn't be taxed. You are an evil little man, you know that?

At 6'3" I'm not all that little. And I don't think it's evil to expect a business to be taxed like a business. They'll find a way to pay their leaders if they're taxed, believe me.

More importantly, you said to tax all religions. You never said to single out the businesses, you just want to tax religion because you see a world of exploits, completely ignoring what I said about non-profit organisations. Non-profit organisations aren't businesses.

I dunno where you're getting all this from. I want to tax religions. I think businesses are already taxed (maybe not effectively) but are nonetheless taxed. Religions aren't. I do not see any logic in it, especially when religions engage in profit-minded things. I ignored your NPO comment because I had no idea where the hell you got that from.

Because you don't understand the idea that not all religions are designed for profit? Because you are a cynical bastard who thinks "scam" whenever religion is brought up.

Religion is not a business, some chapters of various religions might try to be dicks and profiteer, but for the most part, religion does not turn a profit. They are organisations nevertheless and there for are Non-Profit Organisations. They only work to Spread the word of God/Allah/Jehova/Etc.

"Tax religion" is far too vague and general. If you said "Tax the Religious sections earning a profit from their preaching etc." Then by all means, go ahead, but don't just say "religion" as a general term.

I certainly understand that not all religions are not designed for profit. However, many are, and I feel that they should be taxed.

One thing that will certainly help this discussion is if you stop jumping to conclusions about my motivations and my feelings. If you ask me, I'll gladly tell you. But please do not presume that I am a cynical bastard, and definitely do not presume that I think scam whenever I hear about religion. I'm pretty much done with this, but feel free to keep going. I will engage with you, but only if you can be a little more civil about it.
