Well, my principal was an absolute prick, and he started trying to get me and my brother in trouble whenever he could after our grandpa said he couldn't hunt on his land. It got to the point where my parents threatened to go after him and the school board for harrassment.

Be honest, be respectful and be repentant (if I feel I have actually done wrong). No excuses, I only tell of potentially mitigating circumstances if I am asked to and I accept any just punishment. If, however, I am falsely accused or am being punished with neither rhyme nor reason I will fight to the bloody, bitter end to prove my innocence or undermine the authority of those who would misuse it.

A bit overly serious, but THATS HOW I ROLL, BITCHEZ!

Be bluntly honest and explain your motives for whatever it was. Teachers usually shit bricks if you are honest with them.

At my school? Wouldn't happen, not for me. The kids with a good reputation always got a free pass, despite a few being secretly evil. One bully never got in trouble because he was 'such a good boy, he would never do such a thing', despite him punching kids in clear view of security cameras. They never even checked the tapes.

Helped a lot when some git tried to pin a theft on me though. They brought us both to the office and then laughed him back out the door.
I was kicked out of high school when one of our "freak" friends leaned herself over a table to talk to me - and a football player kicked her across the table -
when i leapt up and over the table to fight him, he was so surprised he ran - that and, though he would've taken me, I was putting my spikes over my hand as i came, and he woulda messed up his pretty face...
" no one told me they would fight back..."

Never mind that he kicked a girl in the ass, I got kicked out of school.

So your point is well taken.
Another example, a worse one, is when the stupid preppy rich boy jock ran over some "freak" and of course no charges were pressed, many remember this?

"Yes sir...

Yes sir...

I understand, you're absolutely right.

Yes sir..."

All delivered in a dull monotone. Works every time.

The perfect escape plan? One word: jet pack!

Yes, that is one word. Trust me, I'm neutral.

Nothing. Really. I always stood by my decisions back in the school days, no matter how silly they were. For 3 years i fought with the school regulations about dress code and footwear changing to finally have it removed from the school's regulation's on my last year.
For my defence i always had the card of being top student on the year so all they really did was lecture me, complain to my parents and lower my 'behaviour' grade. Good old rebel times.

Wow. And I thought the people at my school were pricks. The administration are either cowards or idiots - probably both.

It'd probably be for ditching class, since that's the only major rule-breaking activity I regularly engage in. Anyway, I'd tell the truth and be very frank, then ask for the school guidance counselor and begin crying. Always works.

Feign ignorance and submission.

People seem to think the best way to handle those situations is to DO something. When the best way to avoid any real punishment is the opposite. Do nothing and pretend the authority figure is correct.
When you're accused of something, act confused. You don't know if they have proof yet.
If there is no proof, feign ignorance and pretend to bow to their authority.
If they have proof, make sure you know what it is they have and admit only to that and accept any punishment, while feigning remorse. Try and force some tears out.

Basically, bow your head and let them think they're in charge. It'll go easier for you and you'll probably get away with more than you normally would. People in that position like being in charge.

The best manipulators let others think they're holding all the cards. They let others think they've been beaten, when they've really escaped relatively unharmed.
still that would only work for minor things.. if they have found weed in your locker for instance that would not really suffice.. still if your looking to lessen the punishment agreeing to it and get the tears rolling is a good stratgy, if you want to completely avoid punishment there are better ways.. : >

I was accused of trying to rape a young girl at school, once.

I got out of it by asking for evidence; people seem to think they can prove a child's guilt without any evidence - as if they're age makes any difference.

It was almost a shock to them when I told them I wouldn't be accepting any punishment until they presented such evidence.

How many times has someone told you they know you're lying and punish you, even though they can't prove a thing?

Glad I'm not a child anymore.
yeah i noticed that in school also, if you had done something they would usually just expect you to agree to it, asking if they have evidence for doing what you did can in some situations get you out of it. also if 1 teacher saw that you did something, but he can't prove it then you would just claim the teacher have always hated you and that there is no proof for you doing such a thing, then it would just be your word against his word..
