Me.

No Star Wars, Shawshank Redemption, Fight Club, Old Boy, Pulp Fiction, Clockwork Orange, Godfather 2 and 3, any Matrix, Kill Bill, Avatar, Borat, The Usual Suspects, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Citizen Kane...

The list just goes on. While I haven't watched any of these films I have extensive knowledge about things related to them. (Greedo shot first, Blue Pill - Red Pill, It was his sled, I'm your father, that kind of stuff and more)
I'm an adherent to Han shot first. But this discussion aside, we all now Mal shot first.

This is pretty funny, I take it you also haven't seen The Princess Bride or heard it quoted before? :p

I was in English and all three of my friends in that class told me they've never seen any of the Lord of the Rings. I moved my chair away from them for the rest of the period.

I have, the quote just seemed out of place to be joking. Same to the other person who quoted me.

I just skimmed through the other replies, so these might have been mentioned but I didn't see them anywhere else.

In addition to some of the great movies above:

V for Vendetta
Memento
Pan's Labyrinth

And just because I have to respond to all the Princess Bride stuff on a gamer site... The Machine [http://cheezcomixed.files.wordpress.com/2010/11/025bdaef-54c5-4f0d-a4f0-a2c7aa916e55.jpg]

Holy shit, I'm amazed you people have friends.

It must be so fucking annoying to be around people who care so much about what OTHER PEOPLE have or have not seen. Relax. Not having seen Pulp Fiction isn't the same as not knowing who the president is, or why the sky is blue. It's up to them, people can and should have the freedom to not watch things without being harassed about it.

I have never seen Fight Club and have no real desire to. Pulp Fiction, yes I've seen that, but I don't find it interesting at all. It was "great" at one point, back when I was a teenager and giggled at things I didn't understand, but now that I've gotten older I find I don't like a lot of Tarantino's works. That's just how it goes, though.
Instead of saying "I have no desire watching it" you could state your reason.

To Topic: I only watched Pulp Fiction twice, i really didn't see what the fuzz was about it. The dialogs were funny, but overall i didn't find the characters or the plot that interesting.

I totally gasp when people tell me they haven't seen The Dark Knight.

I have a friend who has never seen the Wizard of Oz, SERIOUSLY IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE
That movie is old as fuck. Why would you want to watch it?
because it a freaking classic, and its one of those movies that people will still sometimes reference, and it was the first color movie, thats got to be worth something

So...

I recently got in a conversation with a newly acquainted friend of mine. A discussion that gradually transferred from video games to movies.

I made a reference to a Tyler Durden quote, but he didn't seem to get it. He had never seen Fight Club. Huh... I tried bringing up Old Boy, but he hadn't even heard of that movie. Fair enough, I suppose. But when I brought up Pulp Fiction, he hadn't even the slightest idea what the movie was about - not even a quote!

And thus: personal DVD-collection to the rescue! Now while I think Fight Club is a movie every (wo)man should see at least once in his/her life, I decided to hook him up with Pulp Fiction first. And guess what? He hated it! He actually called it flat-out boring and uninteresting!

Now, my question to you: have you ever met a man so void of modern cultural knowledge you just couldn't believe it?
(I mean, in the end, the fact that he hadn't seen the movies still baffled me more than the fact he thought Pulp Fiction sucked. In the end, people still have the right to have their own opinions, even if they don't make sense...)

Oh, and not surprisingly, he had also never seen A Clockwork Orange or The Godfather - though I've experienced more than once in my life, that there are more people who simply quote the movies instead of actually seeing them.
I still haven't seen The Godfather movies. There's a few others that are already canonized as CLASSIC but I can't think of them right now. A lot of Scorcese's stuff, come to thing of it. I've seen Taxi Driver, (most of) Raging Bull, Goodfellas, Bringing Out the Dead (SO underrated) Gangs of New York and The Departed. I haven't seen any of his Mob films save for Goodfellas.

Still trying to get my sister to watch Inception, which I got her last Christmas.

Fight Club and Pulp Fiction are both simplistic, braindead action films. I don?t see why anyone would want to include these on a list of classic must-see movies.

I have a friend who doesn't know a lot of things that are commonplace. We asked him about 50 different questions and he only heard of The Beatles, Michael Jackson, ACDC, and a few others. Didn't even know who Kobe Bryant is. I envy not knowing who he is.

Some movies just don't click bro, it doesn't mean they're void of cultural knowledge like you say it. I didn't care for Raging Bull for example.
Well, good.
You know about the movie AND since you have an opinion about whether or not it's any good, that means you've watched it.

The fact that my friend didn't like it is just side info, it just baffled me he didn't know about the movie(s).

And the whole 'void of modern cultural knowledge' is really more to express my disappointment with a sense of grandeur, is all. :)

I can't believe the amount of people who haven't seen The Holy Mountain, Suspiria, Eraserhead, I Am Curious Yellow, and the original Wicker Man! Classics, all of them!

(just kidding, folks)

I've tried to watch, but never managed to stay awake through Dazed and Confused or The Big Lebowski. I get a lot of shit for that, because apparently they're awesome, but I could never get into them. But I've seen all the movies the OP mentioned, so *whew*, I'm safe.

You MUST be trolling.

Not everything has to be a 'The Seventh Seal' or 'Citizen Kane' to be a cult movie you know. (although it wouldn't hurt to go and see them...)
