Sparrow sat down on his old sofa, and turned to Hunter.

"A story eh? Well. I suppose I should start from the beginning. I found quite a few surviors, nearly 60 or so. We set up a radio broadcast to find others. It all went a bit pear shaped though. Thats when these lot came along, and pulled me out. It's thanks to them I'm here really. They're a nice bunch."

Samuel walked in on the conversation between Hunter and Sparrow. They didn't seem to have a very brotherly talk, so he tapped Sparrow on the shoulder and said:

"Spar, you feeling this? I think the Blood Moon is rising tonight..."

 

[Sparrow]

Sparrow elbowed Samuel in the stomach, and stared him the eyes.

"I'll get you your mud-moon in a minute Sam. Thats a shotgun by the way, Hunter."

Hunter seemed to buy it, and Sparrow smiled.

"Sam, can I talk to you outside for a minute?"

Sparrow walked out the front door, as Samuel followed.

*Hunter shook his head, there was more going on here then Sparrow let on*

*Andy's face, which had been returning to it's normal hue, reddened again. Different this time though - not the bright red of embarressment*
Ah well. Time to show someone why I'm completely useless.

*She sighed, then looked Chris directly in the eye. Shuffling around in the sofa so that she was facing away from him, Andy rearranged the towel so that her back was revealed*

*Starting from the base of her neck, running straight to just above the left of her waist, was a deep, knarled scar*

if the red moon is tonight then who knows what's going to happen, with two wolves, a dog, and some talking dog, everything around is will be ****ed

Sparrow hit out against the wall of the adjacent house, repeatedly.

"Fuck. Fuck. FUCK."

Sparrow punched clean through the brick, as a crack ran up the sides of the house.

"I was meant to protect them. I was meant to help them. All this is my fault. And I call myself an older brother."

Samuel looked worriedly at Sparrow.

"Sorry. This is a weak moment for me. You shouldn't of seen this. Everything is just so fucked up. It's my fault my family is in this state. It's my fault we're trapped here. It's my fault I nearly got you killed Sam. And now it's my fault I'm like this. How am I going to protect them when I'm dead Sam? How am I meant to do that?"

Sparrow burried his face in his hands, and pressed his head against the wall. Kid walked outside, and stared at him, horrified. Hunter watched from the window, as did Chris and Andy.

"I'm such a mess. It'll be better off when I'm six feet under..."

"Shot. By this things counterpart"
*She indicated her rifle, which was propped up nearby. It was always nearby*

"It doesn't hurt. To touch, at least. But it does when I try to lift anything with my left arm though"

*She move her arm to demonstrate. Suddenly there was a loud noise from outside, followed by Sparrow's voice. Glad for a chance to move away from the current topic, Andy looked out the window to see him decimating the side of the house*

"Heh. Surely, Chris, you'd be better off worrying about Sparrow? It appears to me that what affects him affects us all. And don't worry too much about me; I'll be fine"

"Oh come on, Sparrow. You know how much I wanted to land here. You didn't put us in any more danger then we already were. And don't you dare think of death. You survived all this time, by wanting to survive. If you're gonna give up hope now, you'll let yourself and us down even further..."

Sparrow clenched his chest again.

"I'm not just thinking about it Samuel, I don't really have a choice."

Samuel looked at him, almost worried.

"I left some stuff in the basement. Good stuff. We'll get your family out of here Sam, I promise that much."

*HUnter stared at Chris*

They're dogs you imbecile. DOGS. D-O-G-S. Robin growled, This "bloodmoon" won't make them feral. The moon won't have any side effects against them, they're too smart for that.

Sparrow sighed. He couldn't help but feel sorry for himself, even though everything else was going to shit for the rest of the ZAS crew.

"We headed to Maidstone. We're taking my family, we're getting Sam's family and we're headed for the docks. We'll take a ship, and get the hell outta' dodge. Tonight."

Chris seemed puzzled.

"Basically, Robin says that because we're dogs the bloodmoon thingy won't affect us. He also called you an imbecile."
