Zombie High! Survival RP (Started)

Paul tossed his flask over to Jack after hearing his request. "Jack, I always thought you were such a logical stick in the mud. To think I could have had another drinking buddy for all those dreadful PTA meetings! But then again, super genius zombies and evil birds may have shook things up a bit. Either way, take a swig. It's the strong stuff though,so keep your edge."

Paul paused for a moment and then resumed. "Oh, and uh, remind me to take you out for a pint sometime for calling you a logical stick in the mud. Assuming my pub isn't overrun with zombies, that is. Which reminds me, do any of you lovely people have a weapon?"

Jack took a swig of the flask.

"Thanks. I've never been a heavy drinker, but I have been known to partake from time to time. Guns are in the U-haul, and we have nearly every type, make, and model of gun you can think of in there with plenty of ammo. Thank Ivan for that one, family owned a gun store. Also where I got this lovely little thing." Jack patted his Kalashnikov rifle.

He tossed the flask back to him and walked back into the chemistry room.

"Well we have a few options, go to the center of the city and the infection to find out just what happened, why, and see if there is a cure or vaccine, we stay here, or we flee and find a secluded area to live out our days. What will it be? I know I'm going with option 1 no matter what you all do."

Lisa had been awake for a while, a cat-nap was all she needed but the un-ease was still present. She took a few steps up to the Chemestry room where she had heard some of them would be heading before she rested and otherheard Jack talking about what to do next.
"Why not a combination of 1 and follow onto 3 if we're in danger? I'm with you for heading into the city. I can't help but wonder if my Mother is okay. She worked at the TV studio in the city and well i'd rather know if she was dead or alive. Plus, If this virus was man-made or a freak of nature, someone must've been in the process of a vaccine." She added.

"A U-haul full of guns. Brilliant!"

Paul lifted up the door and crouched down to sort through the guns. "I guess those Saturday afternoons shooting trap will be more than just stress relief from those miserable little baste....I mean, my bosses, yeah. Damn administrative jerks. Oh, here we are!" Paul grabbed a fine looking beretta and started loading up on ammo when his eyes lit up, "haha! German standard issue. That's me." Paul connected the strap on the Heckler and Koch rifle and slung it over his shoulder. "And to think, 30 minutes ago I was planning on hitting them with my coffee thermos."

"I say we go with option 4 and wipe out this zombie menace!" Adries said, standing up with a raised fist. "We'll go to Washington, and LA, and New York, and...Miami! And, uh come on. Big name city...er...Boise? Well, we'll go there and we'll beat the shit out of every zombie in the US! Then we shall move on to kicking the foreign ass of every zombie in the WORLD!"

"Or, we can do a mix of trying to figure out what's going on and living our days in a fortress. I'm fine with both."

"Let's think globally and act locally. We may be very near ground zero here. I mean, I think we would have heard some kind of word if a bunch of rabid zombies popped up somewhere else first. If we can sort things here, we may come up with a better solution for everywhere else. Besides, if we can handle this zone, mopping up the couple dozen zombies in Boise, Idaho should be easy enough."

"With this kind of ordinance at our disposal, it falls to us to settle things here. Adries is right though, we'll need a safe zone as a fall back. We'll do nobody any good if we just rush in and get cornered."

"Would you call this place a safe zone?" Lisa asked, contemplating the idea of where safe was in a Zombie-infested hole.

"Hell, I couldn't really say. This place is gigantic and I've only seen a fraction of it since things started. But I think we need to clear some kind of space and at least try to keep it clear. Maybe that's impossible without enough survivors. But it's worth shooting for at least..."

"The school is still pretty safe. On the outskirts of the city. You can see any zombies coming. The students, thankfully, aren't doing anything crazy that would attract attention," Adries replied, listing off the pros of the school on her fingers.

"The problem is that, sooner or later the zombies will start moving out of the city. That's when they'll notice us. Also with the new mutations going on this place doesn't seem as safe."

((What a great nap I took.))

((okay, everyone thinks Ivan's car is a u-haul. it's a Ford Pickup truck.))

Ivan walked towards the group, sweating slightly. "well, i can tell you this, this school is now zombie proof. i've laced the entire school with remote det. explosives. some of my best. i also lined the school with some Rommel's Asparagus ((Pointy spikes pointed towards the enemy) covered them in kerosene and any accelerants i could find. as the final line of defense, a ring of oil and kerosene around the school. apparently pvc is pretty waterproof. the kids here can work pretty fast when their lives are in danger. also, all the first floor windows are boarded. raid parties are going through the school, searching for zombies.

((Okay, i just set the GM up perfectly for the boss fight in the school.))

 

[Malevolent Stranger]

Upon hearing all the noise, Vlad walks down, shotgun across back, pistols at his side, reminding himself he needs a fedora. He walks down, notices the survivors, and does a double take.

"Well God damn. I figured upon hearing the one man stumbling drunkenly I wasn't the only one still alive. Judging by the fact that you all look around my age, I'd say that you all came from in here as well. Name's Vlad."

He says this all slowly enough for them to comprehend, however still rather fast.

Ivan gleams proudly at the fact that he made the school seemingly zombie proof. But unluckily for him and the school: He missed an exit.

All of a sudden one of the raid parties patches in through their walkie talkies.

"Status report" Ivan says

Over the radio screaming can be heard, also...something else.

"Alpha team, this is Red Leader! Come in Alpha Team!" Ivan yells into the device

His screaming gets everyone's attention. Adries runs up to him.

"What's going on?" She asks

"I...i don't know. Alpha team may be lost."

Then the radio comes back on. It's Alpha team's leader.

"S...sir...a zombie...a powerful one... it's in the school..." She says.

Ivan is awestruck.

"How is this possible?!" He says

"The emergency exit...we never armed it... it tore through the doors...like they were paper."

The leader uses her last breath and fades. Ivan puts his hand on his face in grief. But this is no time to look weak. He straightens his posture and turn to the students.

"Okay everyone, we got a powerful zombie in the school! let's grab our weapons and see what this thing is!"

He gets on the radio with the other raid party.

"Beta Team, status report" he says

"We're all clear here sir" Their leader says

"Okay, hold your position. There's a monster zombie loose down there, and i'm coming with a team to check it out." Ivan says

Adries, Ivan, Jack, Haze, Lisa, Charles, Paul, and Ryan move out, unaware of what they'll face next.

"Fuck. I knew something like this would happen!" Adries yelled, running over to her rifle and strapping it on. She grabbed her backpack of ammo and put it on. "Alright, where is the emergency exit? Shit, wait. We have a bunch of students in here with no weapons and no knowledge of guns. Giving them one would be useless for the most part."

"Shit, what do we do?"

((Nice one. Aw, yeah.))

 

[Malevolent Stranger]

Vlad pulls his shotgun off his back, running into a teacher's private room, he finds what he's looking for: A solid black fedora. He puts the rim over one eye, looking now even MORE like a total badass, having heard the screams, he ran off to investigate. Vlad trails somewhere behind the group, growling low curses under his breath.

Charles jumped up, now that a crisis was emerging he snaped out of his funk (at least temporarily) and began to shout orders

"Adries, I want you and anyone else who was wounded in our city excursion to marshall the students to the chemistry room, its been our homebase and should be the safest area in the school"

He picked up his M1 Carbine and slaped a fresh clip into it

"We need at least two teams of people, this thing sounds big and it need to be brought down fast. Jack, your AK is one of the most powerful things we've got, we need you out there with us."

Adries sighed and muttered that she'll get to work; heading outside and explaining as much of the situation to the students. They, of course, freak the fuck out and start complaining like the teenagers they are. Adries tried to argue back and talk some sense into them, but the students were getting anxious. None of them had been out of the school since the outbreak. They haven't been getting any real news on what was going on and they were restless.

A few of the students started to get the rest of them riled up, and started yelling at Adries. They did not want to stay. They knew there were guns in the room. Adries ran back inside the Chem room and locked the door behind her.

"Yeah, slight situation. Fellow schoolmates are starting to riot. They want to leave. But, they also want our guns too."

((Let's make things even more difficult for our band of survivors.))

((Xero we have two cars with supplies, yours and a Uhaul. During the bird fight I sent Lisa's U haul back to the school. She used that same vehicle to return after dropping off supplies at the school. We have three vehicles total. Two U-hauls and your truck.))

Jack loaded his gun again.

"I wouldn't have cared if you had told me to stay back just because I was shot in the leg like Adries, you just saved me the trouble of being defiant." Jack said as he moved towards the door

"Adries, if anyone tries to escape with the guns, you shoot them. I am not even kidding, if you feel like giving a warning shot fine, but if they try and lead a group out of this school with guns, we turn this place into a prison until this is over. After we all take care of whatever is happening then we can send them on their way, but not a moment before." With that he walked out the door.

"Adries, we've got to calm them down, the last thing we need are these guys tearing us apart whatever than zombies. We've got this right?" Lisa told Adries before stepping out of the door, holding it open with her back leg, then firing a shot into the air from the pistol hidden in her boot, creating some silence.
"EVERYONE! QUIET! THIS IS IMPORTANT-"
Some still screamed back, another threw a punch in her direction, that she switftly dodged.

 

[Xero Scythe]

Ivan roared. "Everyone shut up or God help me, i will kick all of your asses! Trust me, you would rather go toe-to-toe with the intruder than deal with me!" Everyone immediatly quieted down, as if struck dumb. He turned to Lisa and Adries. "Ladies, the floor is yours." He stepped in front and took out his two pistols and put in new clips. the clicks rang out in the silence.

Adries followed behind Lisa, watching the students riot. A few of them had made weapons out of the metal bars and wooden legs from tables. They yelled that they didn't want a compromise and they wanted to leave. A few wanted guns for safety and tried to get past Lisa. Adries knocked them back.

There was more yelling and a few students with weapons ran forward to get inside. They fell immediately as Adries fired on them, a few writhing in pain and the others not moving at all. That stopped any yelling for a few moments as Adries told them their options.

"Look. You guys can leave if you want because I really don't give a shit. However, you will not be given any guns. You can take your own weapons and leave," she said as she pointed towards the double-doors to get to the bottom floor. After a few moments around half the student body ran out those doors, muttering curses and tearing up.

"The rest of you can go inside the Chem room and wait as we deal with the zombie monster thing," she said.
