Zombie High! Survival RP (Started)

Jack said to the students.

"When I get back I'm going to tell all of you what we went through these last two days, and then we will see if any of you decide to leave. What ever is in here is just a taste of whatever the hell is still out there. How well do you all honestly think you can hold up even WITH guns?" He asked

Ivan started walking in the direction of Beta team, not even looking if the others were following him. "Mea culpa, mea maxima cupla. it's my fault, all my damn fault! If i had just paid a little more attention! This would never have happened. now i have innocent blood on my hands, and now I have to avenge it." Ivan took out his deadliest bombs and put them in his jacket, ready to pull out and throw at any given time. "That. Fucker. Is. Going. Down."

 

[Malevolent Stranger]

Looks at Ivan, following somewhere behind, hearing everything. He checked his .44s. Loaded. He checked his Ammo in his coat. Plenty. This fucker was going down.

Jack was walking behind him as he said that and immediately walked in front of Ivan and slapped him across the face.

"Do NOT even THINK of going there do you hear me Ivan! We need you with a calm head, not with guilt and blood lust on your mind. That will get you and us killed because of some stupid mistake or blind rage you will have. GET YOUR HEAD ON STRAIGHT! We need you, as you are one of the best shots and the damn best and only man with explosives do you hear me?" Jack grabbed him by the shoulders as he walked away and turned Ivan to him.

"Calm. The. Fuck. Down."

After Adries had calmed the remaining students down a bit, she moved them into the Chem room. She locked up all weapons into storage, making sure she was the only one with the key. She sighed, staying there watching them, not sure whether to help with fighting the zombie or not.

 

[Xero Scythe]

"My head is on straight. I'm calm. I've simply made my decision. you tell me this: if not us, who is going to kill this fucker, Hm? I can tell you right now, it ain't gonna be the third graders. It has to be us. We're the only ones who can kill it. I'll wait 20 minutes. after that, i'm leaving to kill that fucker, even if i have to blow him up to the fucking moon."

Ivan's radio patches through.

"Red leader, this is beta team. We saw some students leave. What's going on up there?" Beta leader asks

"Nothing. Just hold your position" he says, eyes fixated on Jack.

"Ummm, i don't think that's possible, Red leader."

"What are you talking about?" Ivan says, the room suddenly quieting.

"There's something big at the end of the hallway..."

"I don't mind you coming along, but deciding you have blood on your hands and running in guns blazing will get us all killed. Remember the last thing we faced, it could regenerate. These things have abilities we know nothing about, we have to focus, be cautious, and not lose ourselves to rage or bloodlust.What if blowing up the room doesn't work? What if you blow yourself to hell and it lives? What then, what will happen if we need more explosives? You need to be calm, which you aren't, no matter how much you say you are. I don't expect you to forget those students and the mistake that was made. What I am asking is rather than kill yourself over it, is that you live and learn from it.

Now, are you actually calm enough that you won't do something stupid? Give me your honest appraisal. I want you to look deep down and tell me in all honesty, are you fully prepared for this both mentally and physically? If you aren't turn around now and go help Adries, because you will get us all killed if you aren't."

Jack looked him dead in the eyes as he said all of this. He wasn't going to endanger any more lives than he had already with his own actions and decisions or lack thereof. Adries had been shot because of his choice to try and talk down the three men in the store rather than outright kill them, caused her to bleed out more because he had hit her leg, and nearly got them all killed on the stairs with The President. He knew it was only luck that they had all survived his choices and he wasn't about to make them again.

"I've nearly gotten us all killed on multiple occasions and I am not about to let that happen again. Never again, you hear me?"

He considered Jack's words and thought hard. Jack's right, i'm not ready for this. rushing in would be stupid. then he heard the patch-though. He took a deep breath and calmed down. He stared at Jack right back. "No, i was not ready for it. Key word was. But now my team needs me with a level head and a steady hand, and that's what they're gonna get. you coming with or not?" Ivan pulled up his w-t. "Hang on. just get to a safe place and detonate a few explosives to slow it down. i gave you a detonator. I'll be there as soon as possible."
The human tank started to walk, with eyes as cold as ice and a head to match.

Adries sighed, watching the students in the Chem room. There was little talking going on. The students weren't particularly happy having to be around her, and she wasn't happy knowing that they were unhappy. She sat on the desk and watched, wanting to join the fight against the monster.

'But no. Instead I'm stuck with a bunch of people who mainly want to beat the crap outta me for killing their friends. This sucks,' she thought, tapping her fingers on the desk.

"Glad the Ivan I know decided to join us. I was honestly scared for a moment that you would head back. Fortune may favor the bold, but a man with a cool head who misses a chance will always win out over a hot headed man who takes every chance. As Sun Tzu said 'Know yourself and your enemy and you will be victorious in every battle, know only yourself and you lose one battle for every battle you win, know neither yourself nor your opponent and you will suffer defeat in every battle'. Now, let us go and understand and destroy our enemy." Jack walked next to Ivan.

((By the way that is an actual quote the one in his terminology being:

"If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle."))

Ivan laughed. "You talk too much. Didn't he also say, "All warfare is deception?" I'm pretty sure both the zombies and us have fucked that rule over and thrown it out the damn window."
They got to the end of the hallway just as Beta team set off the explosive. they pulled out their weapons and waited for the dust to settle.

'Bout Time

As the debris and dust settle from Beta team's explosion a figure forms in the shadows. Then quick as a flash a sharp metal pole whizzes by. It misses Ivan, by impales Beta Leader right in the chest. as he looks up from his wound, another metal pole head straight for him, Taking his head clean off. Ivan and the crew watches as the lifeless body falls to the ground.

"Everybody find some cover!!" Ivan yells

One girl couldn't react quick enough and the monster runs up to her, quick as a flash, and catches her in it's grip. She screams for mercy, but her pleas for help fall on deaf ears. The monster brings her closer to him, and embraces her. A loud cracking noise can be heard. The girl instantly goes silent. Then the monster throws the corpse. It lands near Ivan, filled with holes and scratches. It then roars loudly, shattering windows, and alerting the students of it's presence.

Ivan looks from over cover to see the monstrosity. The thing was obviously human once, it's shaggy hair tumbling over its eyes. But something must've happened to it in a previous life, for metal spikes were protruding from it's back and chest, and he was bent over, arms longer than humanly possible. He had the posture of a gorilla. He took a metal shard from out of his back, ready to strike another human.

Adries heard the yell, and everyone else in the room too. "Calm down!" she yelled as the windows broke, hitting some of the students with glass. They all started screaming and yelling, with a few running outside immediately.

"Hey, wait! Shit," Adries muttered, looking around at the extremely terrified students. "Just, relax. Everything will be okay."

((Yay, bosses!))

((Oh sweet Jesus! That ain't from the left 4 dead i played!))

"Oh...crap that is one big-ass zombie. Ivan dodged another steel beam. "At least those things aren't growing- it can only have a finite number. Ivan threw 3 mini-bombs at it and hid behind a broken steel wall. "Dammit! We need to get out somewhere big! right now this is the perfect place for this monster to make us look like something left by Vlad the Impaler!"

Jack opened fire as he fell back.

"If only this were a junkyard. We could just grab the poles with a magnet and crush him into a neat little cube. As it is I don't know what the fuck we can do but get out of the school and keep shooting it."

"Can't we lead this thing out into the courtyard? At least then we'll have some space then, What about another distraction to lead him down the stairs over there?" She said gesturing to the stairwell a few feet away, "Then the others can get something big while a few of us lead him down and we all take him down bit by bit when the students are in less danger." She offered, Lisa held her shotgun against her chest as she dodged some debris and rolled to the side.

 

[tsatoma]

"I wa-want to leave!" cried a girl who was curled up in the corner. Things were not going well. Most of the students inside the Chem room were crying. Adries did not like tears.

"Guys, come on! It's just a monster. We've dealt with them before, no big deal," she said, rubbing her temple. "Besides, leaving now means getting in the way of the monster. Or it means running into the monster if they try to get it outside. So don't leave. Got it? Good. Just sit back and stay calm."

"Want me to stay and watch them?" Hayley asked Adries, leaning against the door frame and trying to stay calm herself.

"That sounds good." Ivan blew a hole in the wall and threw a few more explosives at the zombie to get its attention and get it to follow him. "Follow my lead!"
