"Nope. He seemed quite distracted. I think he just wanted to check up on me and to see if Adries was there," Alan replied, "He hasn't called back and it's been a day. Then again, preparing for a zombie siege is probably very stressful and time consuming."

"I'd assume so," Adries said as they made their way back to the school.

"The problem with the idea of the Farway blockade is that it is a lot of people. A lot of potential zombies. The police force is big, but I don't know if it could handle something like that."

"Let's just stop talking about it then," Adries said, a mix of anger and sadness in her voice.

Lisa pulled up where she had parked in the beginning and got out. A few zombies had a appeared while they were away, but they showed little interest in them for some reason. Non-the-less, she pulled out her pistol and shot a few before heading towards the entrance.
"I do have a question though. If the military do find us in Farway, do you think they'd come back for everyone here?"

Adries was silent, trying to come up with an answer. "They might. They probably would," she replied, grabbing some of the computers and heading back into the school, "I guess it would be up to them."

"They would unless it was way out of their way," Alan said as he took out his bike and the small generator, "It depends on the situation. It always depends on situation at hand."

Lisa held the door for them, still consolodating the situation. She didn't trust that the military would help everyone. Only those that were easy to find.
"I wish that things were easier..." She muttered with a weary sigh.

"Things never are," Alan said as he followed Adries to the Chem room. As soon as she opened the door Charles's dog tried to jump on her, "Holy crap! Cute dog, what the hell? No, shoo, go!"

"Channel Cesar Milan Adries!" Alan told her, laughing when she turned and glared at him. The dog ran around them all, happily licking.

"I hate dogs," Adries muttered, setting down Alan's stuff on the desk.

Ivan thought about what Christie was doing here. "Hey, Lisa, what is your sister's rank? And what branch is she in, regular army or special forces?" He put his hand to his head and petted the dog when it came up to him. He thought that this might be a lot more serious depending on what Christie was. ((i mean what branch of the Military))

"Well about 3 months ago we got a letter from her, telling us that she'd moved up to a Lieutenant Colonel. From when i last checked she was also a chief warrant officer beforehand then took up work commanding over simulations in order to train her for battle situations. She mentioned working with special forces in latest letter though." Lisa explained, bending down and petting the dog, giggling a little as it licked her fingers.
"What a cute thing."

"Evil dog," Adries muttered, taking a seat next to Alan as he started working on setting up his computers in the corner.

"Not going to set up in the computer lab?" Adries asked him, to which he replied a 'no' and went back to work.

"I'll say one thing Lisa, your sister kinda scared me," she said, turning to them.

She stood up and frowned.
"I'm sorry about that. She's always been so serious it's painful. Joining the military really didn't help her attitude. Now she thinks that she's better than us. At least she gave some information. What i want to know is what she's doing here fully, i asked and she waved me off. Sometimes i really can't help but loathe her." Lisa sighed.

"Probably trying to clean out any trash that could be trouble," Alan responded, booting up the computers and setting up his keyboard. "If the government has anything to do with this they'd want to get rid of any evidence right? That might be what she's doing. Or getting rid of any of those monsters. Who knows. Also, Adries we need to talk privately. Relatively soon."

Adries nodded, knowing exactly what this talk would be about. "Also can someone bring me a box or something for Parker? It's not fun for him to stay in my pocket," Alan added, making Adries chuckle as she searched in the teacher's desk for one.

((I'll be back in 20 minutes or so. Need to get a few things done.))

"Oh hold on." She said opening the first aid box she had been carrying and emptying the almost empty plaster bandaid box and handing it over to Alan.
"Is that big enough for him?"

"Perfecto. Thank you madam," Alan replied, taking the first-aid box and putting Parker inside. "I always wanted a pet," he said before going back to work hooking everything up. After a few minutes had gone by the monitors flicked on. "Yay," he muttered before typing and mouse-clicking a few things.

She gave a bow and leant against a table.
"Who were you speaking to before we arrived?" She asked recalling that he had typed that he'd be back to someone.

"My new friends. AKA, random people who I've never met spouting off stories and ideas from their position," Alan replied, his face plastered to the screens, "A few of them were, seemingly, officials. Like, a scientist here, senator there. Supposedly. It is still the internet. You can never be sure on the truth when it comes to it."

"And that's how you've been kept updated on everything?" Adries asked, getting a nod from Alan as an answer.

"I suppose that's better than nothing." Lisa added, "I take it there are still some crazies around like before the outbreak?"
She was petting the dog again, normally dogs didn't like her much, but Charles' dog was really friendly.

"More so than ever," Alan replied, clicking on a things, "I had assumed that most had been killed off but there are just so many. At least they still have a sense of humor for the most part."

Adries chuckled at that, "Well of course. The end of the world brings out the humor in all!"

Laughing too, she looked over his shoulder at a particular poster who claimed that the government had caused this purposefully.
"Ah, nutjobs really do make people warm and fuzzy inside. I bet you that at least a few of these guys prepared for this like 10 years ago and are in their bomb-shelters now."

"A few of them have actually said that they are posting from their bomb shelters. It's quite hilarious when they do a web cam and show how 'tricked out' their shelter is," Alan said, bringing up a few pictures people had shown of their shelters. There were a lot of pictures that everyone was showing; mainly those of faces of lost family/friends, destroyed cities, and zombies. Lots of zombie photos.

"Jeez, some of these are pretty gruesome," Adries said, looking at the monitor closest to her.

Lisa frowned and looked away from the particularly bad ones,
"How do people actually stick around and take pictures of those things? You got anything as bad as a mutated bird like this?" She asked fishing out her sketch pad and showing him the bird she had drawn a few days ago. She was curious if there were more like them around the cities.

Ivan started to think. "They're evolving, there's no doubt about that. the question is, how fast and how? Is it man that is speeding it on, or is the virus mutating?" He was swamped so deep in his thoughts he didn't even realize someone was trying to talk to him. He started to apologize. "Oh, sorry, what did you say?"
